Personally I have doubt on your statement of City the best choice for long term use. I was a City '04 owner and sold the car after 6 years due to CVT gear box issue. Although Honda claim their current City model is using new CVT technology, for me it's reliability is still yet to be proven...

Well, I would say you have bad luck. It is well known that Honda Malaysia messed up big time during the initial introduction of CVT. They used the wrong oil and the result was apparent. Some were lucky enough to have it malfunction within 3 years and therefore save a hefty replacement. My family had a City 08 which also had the same dual clutch CVT and still running fine till today.

Funny. Why relate handling to bodyroll?

I didn't say God car handling is better. I said it's bodyroll Controll is better than M2. Probably due to its softer Suspension. M2's suspension is stiff.

I think you got the term wrong.

https://www.carwow.co.uk/blog/what-is-car-body-roll-0184

Cars with good body roll stay as even as possible with the road versus cars with bad body roll that sacrifice handling for comfort. I think Vios is the bad and M2 is the good.

True. i read that before as well. But i couldn't get the answer that I need.

Perhaps i got confused between car body roll and passenger getting flung left and right. I personally feel its not as nice inside the mazda2 at the back compared to vios, which is steadiness.
*
Personally I used to drive a Vios too, so I do get what you described. But I do think the article is right. When I got the Sonata, it took a while to get used to it. I think that the Vios suffers from body roll and under steer when going through corners fast. I think Vios drivers do get this sense of insecurity whether or not they are going to make the corner because of lack of feedback from the steering while doing high speed cornering.

What is this supposed to achieve?  hmm.gif

I think this is advisable if you park on a slope. If you put P first, then the car will roll forward or backward a bit. When wanna switch to D after restart, there will be a kounk sound which can be quite loud.

Happens with some vehicle. I know my Rio, Sonata and ex-vios suffer from it. Not sure about M2 gearbox.

For a1.5L, there's really not much difference when it comes to fc. Traffic is the biggest factor if anything comes to mind.

Hi thank you for the heads up. My car has been fixed now. I didn't change the whole bumper but the mechanic help me cover up the damage. Total cost RM450 including painting. smile.gif

I find it unbelievable that a B segment bumper could cost RM800 bare.
