i believe so long the cvt fluid change periodically and you not racing the car like playing around the shifters (if your car comes with it like inspira or preve or older idsi citys) cvt box should be lasting for quite some time. Yea i do personally skeptical on cvt box as my feeling on the wear and tear on the steel belt and pully would have been really intense (imagine the belt and pulley always grind on each other all the time compared to gears which take turns as the gears are shifting), of coz you won't see anything obvious before your car odo clocks 100k and above. hence my personal take is take auto box if you wanna drive the car for long long time and cvt if you are a gentle driver. it's just my 2 cents though.

Honda did say the CVT belt is lifetime guaranteed. laugh.gif
So to them and the belt manufacturer, they can claim a new one, fit it in, refurbish the whole gearbox, and sell as new spare parts.

To us, we have to pay for the CVT gearbox replacement.

Compression ratio might be lowered for turbocharged Skyactiv-G. Else, the whole top will explode, or run on RON100+ fuel only. laugh.gif

Last weekend went to KL. Very save fuel vehicle... i use about 60 ringgit from pg-->kl-->pg .. Still remember my Myvi have to use about Rm100 for 2 way. and the driving experience awesome.. Just the wind noise very noisy when it reach the speed of 140-150.. but i believe  this can be improve by installing sound proof.. i very delight with this car CHEER~~.. rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

Please check yours, if only me having such mark then no point I going there to "KPKB".
Mazda 2 Head lamp design no good, how can their designer put the 21W bulb on top side so near to the lens.
[attachmentid=4411464]

Mazda CX5 design better.

Supposed to be LED, but then SEA used bulb instead.

Pls update when 1 tank is used up, n how many liter fill up.
Looking good.
*
Finally had to refill today.

* Fuel type: Shell RON95
* Duration from last refill to current refill: 11 days (Friday Apr 3, 2015 - Tuesday Apr 14, 2015)
* Litres filled for current refill: 37 litres
* Total distance travelled since last refill (agak-agak): 460km
* Mileage per litre: 12.43km per litre
* My thoughts: Pretty damn amazing

Btw, its almost time for me do my 1000km service. Since this is my first time doing this, I was hoping you guys can help me with these questions.

Q1: How long does the service take usually? (Wanna know if I can schedule an appointment before work)

Q2: Should I just let the SC person check and change things as he deems fit or should I request for specific things like synthetic engine oil (not sure about this, how much do they charge?)

Q3: Anything I should know before going for the service?

Appreciate any tips you guys can give me, thanks guys.

If i'm not mistake, fully synthetic is a 'cleaner' which means it is a lower viscosity oil hence providing more performance and therefore you will only need to change every 10,000km vise versa.
I'm not the pro though. Correct me if I'm wrong.
