Thanks for the tips,
that's means disconnect the battery or take out the battery.
Only charge the battery let's say 10 min , 15 min.
Connect the battery back to the car and try to start the car.

It's a lot more safer to do like this, the most you mess up the battery and not the car.

The only explanation that  fry the circuit is the alternator in M2, generate lower voltage than the older car's alternator.

For e.g.  M2 maximum can only take is 14V, then other car alternator is generating 15V or more.
then you will smell something bad.

no need take out the car battery from engine bay...
u just detach all the cables from the car battery, use the jumper change the car battery...
re-attach all the cables back to the car battery, start engine safely... hmm.gif

I've place an order on end April 2015. By 19th May, SA said car reached port, need to settle the downpayment within 2 days to secure the car. Told me that custom will normally take 2 weeks to release the car. After 2 weeks, said custom offline, cannot check. Now already 1 month since payment made, latest update from SA is that my car is still at port. Really getting more and more impatient.  vmad.gif  vmad.gif  vmad.gif
*
below is my little M2 diary:

i order on 2015-Jan-31...

according to the AP...
my car arrived port klang on 2015-Feb-19...
Prima Merdu submit the document on 2015-Feb-25
customs clearance on 2015-Mar-12...

PDI, waiting Bermaz arrange the shipment... (Port Klang - Sitiawan)

car arrived SC on 2015-Mar-21...

settle downpayment on 2015-Mar-23

queuing for Puspakom Inspection & done Berjaya Sompo Insurance on 2015-Mar-24

done Puspakom Inspection on 2015-Mar-25

JPJ registration on 2015-Mar-26... collect the car from showroom on the same day...

waiting less than 2 months since booking, customs clearance taken 2 weeks+
no such thing about pay the downpayment to secure the car for you...
there is car allocation to your name since the car arrived Port Klang, because they got the Engine & Chassis Number can be recorded into the system...
FYI, dealers need to pay 20% of the car price to Bermaz before they release the car from Bermaz to Dealers' hand... dealer collect the downpayment from customer before the car arrived dealer site may be due to this reason...

no need to wait for AP license??? How come after your car cleared from custom, can queue for Puspakom inspection??
My car is in Mazda warehouse now, but she told me I have to wait for 2-3 weeks queue to get AP, then only can proceed to Puspakom inspection...
*I asked the SA again, and now she say its a misunderstanding. I was furious and when she found herself unable to answer my questions, she hand over the phone to her colleague and said that they are rushing it for me, still waiting customs to release AP letter and some sort of KI documents submission, might able to get the car in a week but no promise...

Feels something really not right...  shakehead.gif
*
Prima Merdu is the importer of Mazda car, they hold the AP...
what they mention Mazda warehouse is the AP holder's yard which keep the cars before customs clearance... (this process take very long time)
after customs clearance, bermaz will arrange the shipment for the car, deliver to the branch/dealer's showroom/service center
once the branch or dealer got ur car, they will find u settle the downpayment, while waiting for Puspakom Inspection...
so is the SA send the car to Puspakom...
i guess u can get ur car within a month, up to 3 weeks or more

But the thing is, the HQ officer said the car is waiting for the dealer to collect to do Puspakom inspection before hand over to me; while SA said after collect need wait AP before Puspakom inspection.

I install at Ipoh Mazda.
Actually all Mazda Service Centre have this....because this is Genuine part

Auto-fold and brake lock system = RM680
*
This 2 in 1 module is not Mazda Genuine Part, but it's aftermarket CANBus module...
Don't install anything in Chin3S, they used to "potong" customers...
I bought the same module from Equine Park only RM230 (member's price). They do free installation as well, but I DIY tongue.gif

But that temp gauge oh.. I felt is more of a engine bay temp. Cos I go out damn hot it is still 36 but if parked long long Liao or stuck in traffic the temperature is 41..  Haha.. Ashame we don't have a engine temp reading.. Kalau engine overheat also don't know.. Haha
*
that temperature gauge on the instrument cluster is the outside temperature, the sensor installed inside the front bumper...

Guys, im trying to decide between a Honda City and a Mazda 2 for the wife. Ive done a brief comparison table. Appreciate your views.

Mazda provide Free Service & Maintenance (oil, parts, and labor) for 3 years or 60,000km, whichever comes first...
Total 7 service sessions (1K, 10K, 20K, 30K, 40K, 50K, 60K)

If value for money is you want definitely Mazda 2. Quality, look (subjective), driving dynamic and equipment already win
if practicality is what you need than City.

from your pdf, you did not mention about mazda 2 got 3 year labor and part free maintenance. while Honda 5 years for labor only.
i got a table about mazda 2 value of each service from 1k-60k (3 years). it sum up to 2.2k worth.

compare on 10k service, mazda 2 just cost around RM220. while my dad city almost or around RM400 if i not mistaken.
*
to be exact, Honda is not provides 5 years free labor charge... in fact, only covered for 6 service sessions...
yes... Mazda provides 3 years (36 months) or 60,000km free service maintenance (include oils, parts, and labor fee), whichever comes first, walk in and out like a boss without paying anything except you have any special request
