According to here :
http://www.nintendowifi.com/customersuppor...r=51300&x=0&y=0 This is regarding WEP key issue. If your WLAN is WEP encrypted (denoted by a closed padlock at the AP selection screen during WFC setup) you need to key it in. Look for "WEP" in the configuration screen and key it in. However, if i'm not mistaken (old man liao memory fading...) the WEP key for DS needs to be HEX only. I could be wrong, can somebody clarify? EDIT : This reply took a tad longer to write than it should and hence Lizan already replied and managed to connect liao. This post has been edited by satanduck: Nov 16 2006, 08:11 PM |

If the hotspot uses some STUPID web based authentication then you can't use.
For example, some hotspot after u connect with your PC, you need to launch the browser, then the browser either redirect u or ask u to click OK or ask you to login. Those won't work with WFC. |

Nope: coz you still need to authenticate yourself via log-in.
Two examples of such hotspots are Airzed and TMNet's Hotspot. I have heard that you can use these hotspots if you have the NDS Browser (to bypass the verification, then you can use it with whichever WiFi game you have), but I am not sure if that's the case. Anyone with the browser willing to confirm on this? This post has been edited by Phoenix_Cypher_K1: Nov 17 2006, 12:06 PM |

???? I thought TimeNet doesn't need login at all? Because most Starbucks have been on TimeNet and I have no problems logging into WFC with most.

And unless you buy the PSP now and somehow get an in for a cheap price, i would doubt that the PSP is same price as an NDSL I saw a thread in sony that ask how much did you spent on ur PSP. I think the cheapest was 2k from some dood with no UMD games at all. Lol? |

Lol? price for 1.5 has drop since the downgrader for 2.71 and below is out.even psp with firmware 2.71 can play THAT games too, and the pack is much cheaper than 1.5 to start play *ahems*, just need the psp and MSPD for 1.5 , form 2.71 need an UMD in drive. and the cost is could be around 1k or lower than that |
