hi, if possible, would you mind leaving some contact infomation here, so other who might be interested can try to check it out?

i have interest in kyudo about 3 year back before i brought my compound. Almost brought a yumi when i was in japan 3 years back  sweat.gif it was really cheap there, around 25,000yen or 10,000++-- for 2nd hand... but end up spending on a set of kimono hmm.gif .

Hi ieR,

I guess you keep in touch with Lim Eng Chuan? He is our member from penang and current president of Kyudo Association.

Please join our Facebook Malaysia Kyudo Network (https://www.facebook.com/groups/malaysiakyudonetwork/) & Malaysia Kyudo Association (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Malaysia-Kyudo-Association/422193884547725?flyingspaghettimonster=bookmarks), you can contact us from there. Usually people contact us from this 2 medium through FB

The used Yumi is actually a good idea... get the brand like Jikishin if you found a used with good price (RM300-RM600 I consider very good price). Let us know for recommendation, we can give some advice which one is best bang for the buck.

Any chance you are in KL/Penang? you are welcome to join our training

ahh thanks for the extra info, btw any idea how much would a hakama cost in malaysia?

Hi ieR,

refer to Asahi, usually we purchase from there as they have give 10% discount on all items. http://www.asahi-archery.co.jp/kyudo_en_jp/k_5/items_en2.php

Plus shipping cheapest is around RM200-250 after conversion. Polyester hakama is recomended for easy maintenance
