Hi all, I want to know are there any IT company in Penang island that offer basic salary of 2k and above for fresh graduates other than those in FIZ and FTZ (bayan lepas area)?

I know one in Tanjung Bungah but not sure the name. It used to call Hong Hong but i heard it already changed the company name. The basic salary for fresh is RM2.2k if i'm not mistaken After confirmation, you will get a few hundred increment

i start my first job after my degree with less than rm2k pay, work as a contractor in one of the mnc.

I think yes as i don't know the new name after they changed the name a few years ago. I have a few friends used to work in Hong Hong software house i think many years ago. Now all of them already left the company and join other new software house either in Penang or Mainland.

while everyone said fresh degree holder might get paid rm2.5-2.8k or even higher, it ony applied to certain company, field and position.

any vacancy in pg(IT related, except programmer), i might interested...pls post ya..

Haha, people comes, people goes... this is normal in working life I think there are very few ppl in this world who work in the same company for their life and never changed
