Agreed that most development work are done in the US. Most of the work done here are factory process related (yield, cycletime, downtime, etc). However, we are getting some opportunities to do some small/minor product development work here too - takes some time as we lack the skills and technological knowledge. Some will also have the chance to train in the states for about 3-6 months doing product transfer/development work.
Well internet access is secondary... and depends on the scope of your work. You really got to have a good reason for it. I've got it.
