Anyone active in TR? I've been thinking about moving my main from AV to TR since it's much more populated there.

Iirc NA Tera is 5 months behind KTera so I'd say we'll probably get it in May or Jun.

Crafting is pretty straight forward. I suggest you to ignore it until you've reach level 65 (for armor, weapon and etching craft especially). You can get the design from shops and broker.

I wouldn't bother PVPing especially with that kinda ping (except for CS and Kuma). PVE is honestly the better choice.
CH if you like roleplaying and immerse yourself with the game world and lore, also ERP

Never had any problem with buying EMP before. Try buying it during working hours see if it works.
Anyway I think now's the best time to do the 2 weeks free elite thing if you're planning to level up Gunner; Also a chance to get the Cutting-Edge Gunner gold title for being the first to reach lvl65

The IP block was lifted last year. It's currently available to certain countries in Asia (Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines). Not sure how the steam release is gonna play out, but the IP block will probably stay (or else they'll open the flood from China). Don't trust me on that, try it yourself if you live in Brunei.
You can't carry your character from EU to NA, different publisher (Gameforge, En masse).
Can't speak about the ping differences between EU and NA, but you get around 200-300 at best if you're on streamyx (still playable outside of PVP).

Server update in 9pm. Also I heard they're giving away EX-TRM, not sure if it's temporary use or permanent.

Darkness Reborn? Any requirement to enter the guild? I've been thinking in moving to another guild since the one I'm in now is a bit dead.

There's just no way you couldn't play Tera with 4GB. Tera isn't exactly a new game, it was built using UE3 and released in 2011. I'm playing it on Core 2 Duo machine with 4GB of ram, there's no lag unless if I turn everything to max.
I suggest you to investigate if there's any process that eats your ram; kill the process and then try running the game again (Process Explorer is recommended). Also check your system if all your RAMs work correctly, try unplugging and replug the RAM again if there's any problem. See if you can run some of the recent low spec games like Dota 2 or CSGO properly.
In any case, reformat your computer (I know it's inconvenient but a lot of the problems can be fixed this way) and redownload the game again using Steam (since it's faster than using the official installer / torrent)

Berzerker, Slayer are both top DPS atm and will stay that way for a while. Gunner deals pretty huge damage too but I'm not sure how it compares to zerk and slayer. All in all, just go with your prefered playstyle. As zeratos said, nothing sticks forever; eg. both Warrior and Reaper are gonna receive pretty significant buff soon

400 is pretty bad. Have you tried resetting your modem? Mine, usually hovers around 200-300 (4mb tm). I don't think you can get less than 200 ping though since the game server is located in the west.

ping? You have to enable it in the option, I think it's the FPS.

that could be it. less devices that are connected the better. also turn off any download or torrent (in all devices).

end game tera is very grindy though. a lot of the things are rng dependent from item drop, masterworking, rolls, enchanting.

I don't think the prices are that different compared to other classes.
My main is archer, I can say they are a lot better now than before. +60 crit change, +20% damage velik's mark, the removal of range penalty and +30 power stance are all good significant buffs. Also archer will get another buff soon, mainly glyph cost reduction, another iframe and more crit.

What server were you on (ffxiv)? just curious, I'll probably try it out someday.

If you're a casual player you've nothing to worry about. If you're serious in end game stuff however, you'll meet a lot of these elitists, especially if you're queuing for RG and CW. Some LFG would even straight out deny archer into their party. The situation could change however with the current / incoming buffs. Also a lot of hate going on with reaper and gunner too (since it's a new class). My best advice is to keep a few alternates in case if BHS decides to f up your class, eg. archer + zerk / slayer

Level up for a bit until you get out of IoD. Your first BAM is Basilisk in Oblivion Woods.
