I've achieve 500 crafting points already, it says I can learn just 1 artisan crafting skill only? Meaning if i choose 1, i can't get artisan crafting for other skills?
If it's so, what's the best thing to be an artisan in & why?
None, because you wanna get to master lv. The best is to get all of it by making 4 char since they rely each other to get the mats.
P.S. - PP is shared across characters in the same account.
Ok, let me try to understand this.
There's 4 crafting professions; alchemy, weapon crafting, armor crafting & etching. That's why it's best to make 4 characters; to become a master in each profession? But several posts earlier mentioned that weapon & armor crafting isn't worthwhile since there are better gears out there? So we're left with alchemy & etching only.
Currently I've reached level 500 for my crafting alchemy, so I can take the test to become artisan. After artisan, how do I become a master?
yes~ After artisan, continue to level it up to 800, once you reach 800, you can begin the Master test.
1 character can only artisan/master 1 craft. if you already did the Artisan test on say alchemy, you cannot take the other crafts to artisan unless you reset your alchemy back to 1.
Ahaaa.....cool, I guess I'll be an artisan for alchemy first for now. Thanks for the info.

how come i click play, the client pop out but i cant press the PLAY (hangged there for patching - not moving)
No worries, let it download the latest patch/updates, this is a basic standard operating procedure for most MMORPG.
When you go to Artisan leve, your other crafts cannot go to Artisan. this is the reason why to have more than 4 characters.. usually ppl will just make a new account for this to bypass the Production Point sharing.
Yup, got this part. Reason I'd go for Alchemy is because it's my money making machine now. Will figure out the 3 characters later on, but worse come to worst, just need to look for people who has the artisan skills that I need. That's the whole purpose of being in a MMO no? What's the point if you're doing everything by yourself? Lol.

Same gears, but drop from dungeon instead of crafting. Unless you get to go regularly, you'll most likely buy or craft it.
Some stuff from alchemy and etching requires mats crafted from armor/weaponsmith.
I do go to dungeons regularly. I find it the fastest way to level up & get some golds (from lucky drops). Those weapons from dungeon is much better than the avatar weapons.
:\ yea maybe fast income for alchemist is good.. but long term huge comback.. is weaponcrafting.. darn u thie.. selling 90k a piece.. that only cost a fraction.
Yea lol, no choice.....this is my first & only character, don't have much help in-game so alchemy is my first step for the others. Now finally reach level 50, will probably find some nice stable community to settle down.
I meant those end game dungeons later on, most decent public parties dont like ppl without gears, except for few classes like priest/mystic and gunner. But they're gonna nerf the dungeon soon, so this shouldn't really be a problem.
Avatar weapons have a base crit of like 80% against mob of similar lv which is not shown in the tooltip. No same lv weapon can beat that.
If you're not at max lv yet, I suggest don't bother with crafting. You wont gain much doing it. Just harvest materials with your pp and keep or sell them.
Yea I noticed from Global Chat that public parties seems kinda demanding & punishing for new players.
So you're saying that Avatar weapons can crit more frequent than usual items? Demnit, all my avatar weapons including the one i got last time became feedstock already >_<
I was crafting lvl 40 potions, few of it sells really well with a high profit margin lol. So i keep crafting & selling it to earn more golds. Now level 50 already, starting to feel the slow down in leveling up already (not as fast as before whereby 1 dungeon run = 1 level gain).
Avatar weapon is only great for mobs up to +2 lv, if not its just like a regular weapon.
Lv 50 you could just grind on those devon mobs at the intersection in surussus woods
Meaning Avatar weapons crits more frequent for monsters which levels are plus or minus 2 from mine? Say I'm level 50, Avatar weapons are ideal for monsters level 48 to 52?
Will look up for Devon Mobs @ Surussus Woods, but I'm doing the dungeons because I want the superior quality (gold colored) dungeon drop items.
Based on the lv of the weapon not character. They're kinda cheap if you buy those non enchantable ones. No need o farm so hard, you'll out lv it very fast.
To be effective, the monsters level should be plus or minus 2 levels from the level of the Avatar weapon?
I thought Avatar weapons can't be bought/sold? It's bounded to you the moment you've collected all the runes?
I'm just farming for golds now, mainly farming for materials, craft them into potions & sell for golds. Gear wise, I usually use the best ones I got from dungeons.
Yes, its bounded, you cannot buy it, but honestly thats the only gear you need till 60. Those blue armor is good enough. If you are just grinding mobs, you'll probably out lv it in a day or two.
Yea well, I couldn't pour in that many hours into the game in a day......so things would be slower for me than usual.

Honestly I think it's best to not waste time and level up to 65 asap, especially with the new big patch coming next week. This game is max level centered so you won't get much out of it pre 65 (unless if you enjoy the story line).
Also here's a new feature that will come with the new patch
Can i just level up & ignore the main quests?
That feature is just for them to promote & sell more hats lol.
Skip all except for vanguard quest line, which starts from level 60 to 65. Don't forget to turn on 100% quest gold boost as the vg quest line gives you a lot of money.
Well, you don't wanna look boring so get yourself a cute outfit if you've a decent gold
QUOTE(shojikun @ Jul 1 2015, 05:12 AM)
skip all quest, do Vanguard Quest (press H button), until you are level 60. from Level 60 u go do the FoA quest line till 65 while also still doing Vanguard Quest.
Vanguard Quests are those Initiative quests right? It's usually kill 3 or 5 BAMs & there'll be at least 1 dungeon to go.
So it's really ok to skip the main storyline quest.
Those vanguard before lv 60 only gives exp which helps you to lv a little. Vanguards after 60 will start giving you credits that can be used to exchange for crystals, glpyhs, eq, etc.
The only story chain that needs to be done is the one starting at lv 60 - "Supply and Demand". It gives you a set of lv 65 gears at the end which you'll need for end game dungeons. The rest you can skip them all. If you want to do it for achievement or for fun, you can always come back for it.
Ahaa......noted on that. I just thought that I can't access new dungeons if I don't progress through the main quests. I thought the dungeons are part of the story line. Didn't know its independent one.
So all my exp boost & gold boost scrolls are best used when I hit level 60 with all those awesome vanguard quests?
Btw, is it worthwhile to do the recent farmer events? Like due to the hunter gift box event, I made quite a fortune out of it via selling those boxes.
He's talking about vanguard dailies. For the level 60-65 quest, just use whatever boost you have, gold, exp, reputation. If you're an elite you shouldn't worry too much about this since it's turned on all the time.
I'm what my friend would describe as.....a freemium player, so i don't wanna waste those boosts lol.
If you're a serious player, who plays like 5 hours a day, then I'd recommend getting one. Tbh it's much easier to make gold with elite. If you don't wanna spend any money then I'd highly suggest you to save up 20k gold and buy a 30 day elite voucher, you can easily make that money back in a few days if you do your dailies. Just wait for the inevitable cries if its gender locked.
I think, i've been pouring in like 10 hours per week, that is if i'm not busy during the weekends lol.
I just got artisan for Alchemy, but I'm only lvl 51. Was very excited until I reached the Alchemy Formula NPC.....zzzz.....crafting artisan level stuffs requires lvl 60 & above.
Tera Shop do not sell brooch/belts thou, innerwear from lootboxs i think! not sure, but u can get the first inner wear from main quest, brooch and belts from dungeons run.
doing alliance vault can get golden coin to get inner wear too.
I'm level 56 already, still no brooch & belts. I noticed usually only those lvl 65 has them....so I was wondering maybe after certain level dungeon only it's available.
Where to get lootboxes? A lot of people are still wearing the first inner wear from the main quest until lvl 65, so that made me think it's not something that can be obtained from dungeon.
I'm really interested to get the inner wear that increases hp by percentage.
What is alliance vault? I think I'm missing quite a lot by not being in a guild.

Nah. All of those are lv 65 stuffs. Only start to worry about them after you have maxed out and maybe ran a couple of bathysmal rise to get the fulmi set eq along with accessories, brooches and belts.
Cool, not familiar with those lvl 65 item set yet...but I think i'd try to get a decent inner wear first cause that seems relevant until lvl 65.
Nothing wrong with joining a guild early. Get to know with your guild members first and maybe they'll help you out with the end game stuff later. Trust me you can't go alone, the difficulty spike once you reach 65 is quite high since there are so many stuff to learn and the dungeons are a lot harder too.
Yea, hitting level 60 soon & surprisingly still get weirdos via instance match making. It takes like 15 minutes to get matched into an instance if I don't have a healer partied with me already. Imagine the frustration dealing with weirdos in the dungeon. Will be on a lookout for a decent guild.
