actually it depends on you yourself whether low spirited or not.
ive stayed at one room in kanchanaburi, my relatives all says haunted that room. but i tak rasa anything when i was staying there in that same room.
only disturbing thing is that the toilet tank drips water even after fixing.

i tried it before, before i select the hostel or hotel due it's affordable price and accessibility.

after that, try to search in tripadvisor and check their feedback.

hotel / hostel with cheap price tag doesn't mean you can save cheap later.

if the rate is reasonable, then i will decided to book the hostel / hotel .

say want to stay bangkok hotel but dont give budget, location etc ...
