jus called dell for a replacement for the adapter and questioned them on the light leakage. the guy put me on hold then when he got bac, guess wat he told me.... "the screen is normal. its due to the design of widescreen lcds".. i was like WTF!@ noob tech support. then told me dat eventhough he changed it for me, the result wud be the same.. *sigh*.. in the end.. i jus got adapter replacement only...

QUOTE(xChaoSx @ Oct 28 2006, 09:58 PM) Just wondering, i notice that Dell 6400 is offering all its HDD SATA based, and there are the ones with the 7200RPM. 1) yes.. definately have improvement.. but IMO, not significant enough for us, normal users to notice..Understanding that data transfer is a common thing in multimedia aspect such as gaming & videos'. 1) Will the 7200RPM make a significant difference over the 5400RPM? or 2) Is the SATA type already good enough? 2) SATA is sufficient. |

im having problems with my HDD partitions after i reformatted my laptop. steps i did in reformatting : enter boot menu by F12. insert OS disc. delete DMD n WINXP partition. made a 30gb WINXP partition. installed XP successfully installed DMD successfully then when i wanna allocate the remaining 40++Gb for another partition (say D: or E:) using disc management, it did appear in MY COMPUTER after finished formatting. BUT after i RESTART my laptop. enter XP. the 2nd partition "dissapear" completely in MY COMPUTER. tried again and again but still yield the same problem. tried using PARTITION MAGIC 8.0 but similar prob occur again.. where in earth did i go wrong when formatting the HDD????!! argghhhh! any help wud be appreciated! the DMD did not cause d problem of the "disappearing" partition. i jus tested formatting the DMD partition.. combine wit the unallocated partition.. then created a new partition (total: 1.winxp 2.diagnostic 3.remaining left)..
but after restart laptop.. prob occur again. the remaining partition hilang again.. *sigh* |
