i had the sj5000 previously
it was a great camera, and has good video too.
but the phone app is lousy.

compared with the Yi camera app
although is not to say quick
its far better than the sj5000 .

some snap at home
quite impressive for me cool2.gif

after peeping into pic,
seems to have minimum focus distance of 0.4m to have tact sharp focus on subject . good enuf thumbup.gif

Thanks for the app recommendation.  thumbup.gif

But...how do you make it slowmo ? I tried x1 which is the lowest already and it's still normal speed....?  hmm.gif  hmm.gif
*
if importing, it will import as 4x.
then choose 1x as render.
will become as if 4x slower cool2.gif biggrin.gif

that is when i shot at 1080p 60fps.
itchy2 to try the 720p 120fps later on laugh.gif

QUOTE(kur8cobain @ May 24 2015, 09:16 PM)
hyperlapse is not for realtime stabilizer,it will increase the video speed..
try adobe warp stablizer instead
*
yes we know.
but it's on the go, on the phone hahaaa.

wow nice, i never thought 1hr can take this much goodness!
gonna try it soon. mayb 30minutes haha thumbup.gif

anyway, can i know what setting u used to shoot this?
timelapse and how many sec?
*
i set the camera metering to 'spot' metering.
then set timelapse interval to 5sec.
then shoot icon_rolleyes.gif

usually in 30 min timelapse with the wifi turned on will bring the battery from 100% to about 30% very quick.
just prepare powerbank should be fine laugh.gif

oic! thanks
anyway why do we have to set the metering to 'spot' ?

haha. i always have my powerbank with me. no worry. thumbup.gif
*
oh no
not necessarily.
only that im shooting during sunrise, there will be difference in exposure by alot.
center metering / spot metering is a great choice during sunrise/sunset shots (depends on how u compose).

if choose matrix metering , image might be underexpose.
just my 2 cents cool2.gif

QUOTE(Darkmagic @ Jun 7 2015, 11:47 AM)
ya me too... isit direct use the xiaomi apps to take this?
*
yep u can take with xiaomi app
only that timelapse need post processing.
u can just simply install Google's Picasa on ur windows, import and make timelapse in no time rolleyes.gif biggrin.gif

any brand, as long as class 10.

just tested 2 timelapse, picture size set to lowest (5mp), to record a 20 seconds timelapse video it took around 1gb memory ohmy.gif

so if going to a trip, dont know 32gb will enough or not...
*
that's normal.
when u start going for video instead of photo.
u need to prepare mentally & financially for hdd space laugh.gif

im used to shoot time lapse at full resolution (24mp on dslr) in RAW sweat.gif
one time lapse session can take around 8gb space , then edited photos around quarter of that, then the video itself.

now shooting in xiaomi yi is a good savings of space.
normally for full reso time lapse shoot with Yi, for 1 hour shooting (makes up to 10-20sec video after post editing), will be around 3gb. haha icon_rolleyes.gif laugh.gif whistling.gif
after editing, get 10sec video for 100+mb compressed

if not gonna crop , why shoot at full reso? takkan u render a 24mp video  shocking.gif

1080p roughly 2MP only, even 4K also less than 9mp sweat.gif
can,im using it.
*
bcoz got space sweat.gif laugh.gif
if got good image can later use at full reso. if not , then just delete afterward.
not a good process for all, but ok lah lol

if go for travel of koz not going to shoot time lapse at full reso whistling.gif
