I see....so if didn't connect to the phone, the yicam cannot take photo ? Yicam can only take photos / videos if connected to phone, correct ? hmm.gif

Hello all sifus, notworthy.gif I'm interested in this xiaoyi cam, but can't decide whether to buy the basic edition or travel edition.

So I would like to ask those who own the travel edition, is the monopod and bluetooth remote worth the top up ?

Thanks. smile.gif

imho, you can get similar monopod anywhere, you can buy the remote separately as well.
so i will suggest to buy basic edition.
unless u r lazy to buy monopod and remote separately, then buy travel ed. nod.gif

I see. Was looking for the cheapest cam in lazada, and I found a RM296 ( basic edition ), after applying the 20% coupon, it would be about rm24x. Now I'm so tempted to buy it. Besides, now this action cam can record 2k resolution isn't it ? + I cannot afford the new yi 2, it's out of my budget. sad.gif

Guess I'll go with this yi cam 1st gen instead. biggrin.gif

Ya, I saw that too, but now I'm concern about the kingma waterproof case... I did a quick search and found out a few pages earlier there were some users talking about kingma case leaking

Now I'm thinking whether should I buy the bundle set, or just buy the body first, and get the 60m waterproof case. hmm.gif

Since you have received your item, how was the kingma waterproof case?

build quality is ok, but there is a chance some water will go in during open the case, but it should be ok.
i yet to bring it into sea or swimming pool.

QUOTE(deadravel @ May 24 2016, 11:28 AM)
the leaking only happens when u dive.
normal swimming pool should be ok.
the app itself got setting can update the firmware for the camera
*
Ok thanks for the reply. I think the kingma should be okay for me.
