QUOTE(deadravel @ Jun 4 2015, 07:20 PM) depend on how u define overheat? I don't have thermometer for it but certainly feel more than warm to my hand, LOL...the camera does heat up quite fast when u record vid . or keep on taking picture non stop. (at least this is what my unit does la ) Is this related to firmware version by any chances? |

P/s, just noticed that it actually heated up by itself even on idle.
Any similar experience? |

QUOTE(yuekuan @ Jun 26 2015, 01:53 AM) I am currently on FW 1.2.0, sometimes when I try to on it, the device hang, tried on few MMC card "all class 10" it's also the same, will need to remove battery and put it back to have it works. Already reset to factory default setting but still the same, anyone facing the same issue? For my case, it actually stopped my camera's factory reset function. |

After much attempt, lastly manage to remove the hot glue. I realize the best tool for it is the smallest sized flathead screwdriver.
Though, I found out that my unit's focus is actually not too far off, LOL. Also, can someone with experience suggest me what should be the focal distance if I want to use it as dashcam? Thanks. P/s: I realise the overheat problem had caused my stock battery to be inflated a little already (it's less than 1 month old and not even in operation over 2 hours, indoor).... Not sure if it is safe to put it as dashcam and exposed to intense heat from sun for long terms. This post has been edited by Human10: Jun 28 2015, 10:20 PM |

QUOTE(deadravel @ Jun 28 2015, 10:47 PM) hey bro, Really? Hadn't tried it that way yet cause most modern gadgets like phones require battery to complete the circuit and working, definitely a nice surprise to me if its true. FYI, if u use it for dashboard, u can take out the battery and just use the power from USB cable. it will work, so u dont need the battery in the cam when u record. hope this helps. Any idea on focal distance suggestion if I am to tune them indoor? This post has been edited by Human10: Jun 29 2015, 12:05 AM |
