ya i test....better with red filter...bcoz i think xioyi auto light no superb as gopro...also when below 10m,the red filter will become red bcoz of sunlight...so i think maybe we can use uv filer to absorb the sunlight...

Anyone know any software that can zoom in on a video that is recorded in mpeg4 format by a dashcam?

I googled up and tried some sow but it doesn't clearly zoom in. I would like to zoom in on a motorcycle number plate in the video.

Anyone know of such software or someone that offers such service?
*
its normal , digital zoomed will come out blurred

Is class 10 MicroSD fast enough for xiaoyi first gen 1080p recording?

Is the below OK? ADATA supposed to be quite a big brand.

any class10 would be sufficient, i would recommend 16gb class10 thumbsup.gif

Hey guys! I'm thinking of shooting a few timelapses. My question is if the camera can function whilst being connected to an external power source

guys i need your advice
i m planning to buy 1 unit this cam but i notice there is no display panel
is it suitable to be use for snorkeling activity?
if no display, i need to play with the setting using phone right?
but if i am far away with my phone, how do i adjust the setting?
is it connected to phone by wifi? how far is the wifi range?
rclxub.gif
*
yes. no screen.
use phone to configure the setting, wifi connectivity from my usage not very stable if further than 5meter
and the connection wont work if the camera is submerge in water ya.
if u dont have the phone with u, u can only change the mode , photo <--> videos

if ur budget allows, u can get a 2nd generation xiaoyi cam -> yi 4k

*

so, no chance taking photo in the water?
*
u can straight press the capture button on the camera itself, but u have to agak the view u wanna capture

phone definitely cant connect to yicam under water, but im not sure the bluetooth shutter can or not. my guess is cannot.
