1. Preferred Brand: anything
2. Budget: RM3500 or lower
3. Usage: daily office works, reading journals, some light to medium simulations, light youtube, etc
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 13"
4. very lightweight, battery life >8hours, prefer ultrabooks using SSD for faster startup

Hi guys. I'm trying to help my wife's friend who is planning to buy a laptop for her studies.

1. Preferred Brand: Any, although Dell or HP is preferred.
2. Budget: RM2.5k to RM3.5k
3. Usage: multimedia, research simulations
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 13-14". Then would be best if the laptop is light. Maybe <2kg ? Then battery life >6 hours of usage.
