If you want thin and slim, your budget must be very high. Razer 2015, Aorus X7 or X3, MSI GS60/70 or Gigabyte P34W v3. All of these cost you about RM6k - RM14k depending on your configuration.
Those laptop will be hotter compared to other gaming laptop because they are slimmer. So you will most likely feel the heat more obviously than other model.
Just make sure you're getting from an authorized reseller of these brand, as you're spending a lot of money. Make sure you get one with good warranty and after sales service, since you pay so much mind as well get a premium services.
You can get MSI authorized reseller from MSI catalog. ILLEGEAR is selling Gigabyte and Aorus. Razer I'm not sure. Maybe try ask TechArmory ?

Feel free to ask any questions.

Btw m6800 I finding i7-4900mq version wif the price u recommend tat ts.. hehe k5500m gpu

Well with some reading, GTX can give some performance boost to CADS since they are going to DirectX which GTX card uses and more CUDA cores < Should be faster.

But GTX card is built for SPEED compared to Quadro that is built for more PRECISION (more accuracy (more double precision floating point calculations) and special firmware/driver for special software such as CAD). So, it depends on the buyer.

Also, Quadro last longer and better warranty (It is what they said. LOL) and more ports for monitor.

Thanks sifu.  notworthy.gif

I am interested in these 2 laptop. Which one will you recommend?

1. Asus TP500LN-CJ132H – 15.6 Touch / I3-4030U / 4GB / 500GB / GT840 2GB / W8.1 : RM1740/-
2. Asus K451LN-WX156H - 14" / i5-4210U / 4GB / 1TB / GT840 2GB / W8.1 : RM2130/-
*
Well, for Dota 2 it is best to get a good CPU in this case it is the i5 4210U as the GPU is the same can run fine. Both also good as the i3 and i5 benchmark performance isnt that far (Link : http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-4210...-Core-i3-4030U). The performance increase is up to you to choose as whether it is worth the price.

Then it is the screen size. Do you prefer 15.6 or 14? Also, if you want to use the flip feature for TP500LN.

Both the spec is fine for what you are doing.

Get the one you prefer.

Happy hunting

Btw, thermal pad or thermal paste good for laptop? Heard thermal paste us useless for laptop while thermal pad better? HP and lenovo laptop good for precision and moving laptop while acer and asus will get problem easily on laptop if we are very mobile. My toshiba fell then the hard disk suddenly rosak
*
From years back from what i heard, thermal pad is usually for the GPU while thermal paste for the CPU. Pad last longer then paste. But paste is more than enough.

Acer i heard has QC problem (From what i heard.)

Hard disk is prone to damage if it is drop because of the moving parts. That is why if you have $$ get SSD more resilient.

So if drop ssd not damaged liao? I heard ssd lifetime very short only 3 yrs
*
Traditional spinning hard disk would spoil when drop because the read/write arm might be damage (One of the important component) or the spining platter while SSD is like your normal pendrive but faster and better in quality.

Instead of a spinning platter and the read/write arm (The moving parts) they use the state of the solid to read/write from using microprocessor thus no moving parts thus less prone to damage.

Lifetime short might be because of the constant read/write. It will slowly destroy it.

Traditional spoil because of wear and tear while SSD is because of the electronics failure (Capacitor spoil, IC spoil ETC)
