QUOTE(AthrunIJ @ Apr 15 2015, 02:17 PM) Asus G551JM-DM053H – 15.6” FHD / i7-4710 / 8GB / 1TB / GTX860 4GB / 6 Cell / W8.1 : RM3920/- MSI MSI GE62 2QE-006MY Apache – 15.6” FHD IPS / i7-4720HQ / 8GB / 1TB (SATA) 7200rpm / GTX965M 2GB / W8.1 : RM5099 Lenovo Lenovo Y70-70 80DU009JMJ – 17.3 FHD Touch / I7-4710HQ / 8GB / 512GB SSD / GTX860M 4GB / W8.1 : RM4920/- <<Straight up 512 SSD and just save up for future ram upgrade. Well, for your budget Quadro and Firepro would be out of budget. So, the best is getting better GTX cards with the extra cuda core but less precision and software optimization. The i7 HQ/MQ would be sufficient. As for MSI GE70, i would not recommend it as the cooling system is not really good. While the 960M is faster than 860m it is essentially the same card with the 960m clock speed higher (Faster GHz). Feel free to ask any question. thanks, yes the slower gtx860 was a little downside of those both models.. QUOTE(pandera999 @ Apr 15 2015, 02:21 PM) erm, why any reasons? but compare to ROG (service after sales is sucks) and overprice MSI, still Illegear is ok. unless you want to get alienware, but AW is kinda, bad specs. not high enough compare ROG, MSI and Illegear. Lenovo is cheaper, quite worth to spend too yes.. couldnt agree more, but what to do... i even thinking go cheaper as like GP70 leopard pro..

GP70 also a good choice remember, heat will always kill the notebook.. sometimes, uneasy hot at palm rest.

I think that is not true in some part. GTX860m maxwell version is quite decent. It is the best budget range GPU during that time. GTX960m is just a rebrand of gtx860m with slight tweak. The performance improvement is not so significant also, but the price is about RM300 more. Eg: Acer V Nitro gtx860m is about RM3199 while gtx960m is about RM3499 So if you want budget and decent gpu, I think it is the way to go. GTX 960m price for me is not so worth it. P.S: Most new gpu is a rebrand, whether it is AMD or Nvidia. (Except those flagship gpu or new tech gpu like from kepler to maxwell)
