1. Preferred brand — dell, other brand not reliable
2. Budget - rm3k
3. usage: basic computing and dota 2
4. Preferred:most powerful graphic under that budget, display resolution anything can, battery life good and thin laptop
5. Screen size — any

im thinking ofthe dell inspiron 15 7000 series (7548)..any other better recommendations other than this laptop for under 3k? (dont mind going slightly above budget)

thanks in advance

I went to ILLEGEAR website and found their S-series, R-series, D-series and Q-series all have 17" models. What are the differences and how do I choose?

1. Preferred brand: Preferable not Asus, had one and their after-sales service is just terrible. Can't repair a laptop after ONE WHOLE YEAR.
2. Budget: 2.5k~3k
3. Usage: Heavy Photoshop, Illustrator. Heavy Gaming.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 15" inch. Need big screen for design tongue.gif
5. Good cooling system, reliable after-sales service, lasts long, and HD screen with accurate color (for more accurate printing).

sorry.. i refer to this statement " most powerful graphic under that budget"

that specs is mid-end range.. not only suitable for gaming.. but processor is much better... erm..
thn i assume u ply dota 2 at low specs...

how bout , if you really want portable and easy move around, can consider 13" . good option for having cache
dell Inspiron 7348T FHD Ultrabook 13.3” FHD IPS Touch , i5-5200U , 8GB , 500GB + 8GB Cache , Intel HD , W8.1 : RM3021/-
price is not sure.. this price is april price + gst.. dont know current price... pls do check too..

lenovo Thinkpad E450 14” , i5-5200U , 4GB , 1TB , Pre W8.1P DVD : RM2800+/-
can use remaining money to add ram to 8gb

do check review too

else... if u still insist want Inspiron 7548T , get the i7 series.. price not much different than i5

for that budget... to get ips display is kinda hard. + heavy gaming requirement. 15" with good cooling system. you will need a big stretch budget for that.

you have limited budget but your usage and requirement is kinda over budget sweat.gif
unless you willing consider this and stretch up to 500.
Lenovo Y50-70 5944-2222 sweat.gif but 3.5k

Dell 7447 is old spec? There are hardly any i7-5xxxHQ quad core in our market at the moment, while GTX950m is just rebadged of GTX850m with slightly higher clockspeed.

yup, but i need a laptop with good battery life bro, that is why im going for the low power processors smile.gif and the 7447 battery life due to the powerful i7 processor is about 3.5 to 4.5 hours which is only slightly better than my current illegear z5.

do correct me if im wrong tho

GG... Thanks for your recommendation.
Is there a good gaming laptop for about 2.5k then? Screen can compromise abit I guess cry.gif cry.gif
3.5k for a few-years-laptop is abit too expensive for me seeing how I broke my Asus last time after three years sweat.gif
