The investigation to check the DSL signal coverage (within 5km radius) is completed.

i think you need to frequently give them a call at 1-300-88-9515. Let say, every 2 hours one call? If not, your application status will be in pending state at least 2-3 weeks. The 5km radius is just some of their lame excuses, i called them so often. Until they also fed up, they decided to put my put my application on top priorty list. Good luck...

i did use online application and it's true they will attend to you WITHIN 7 days NOT AFTER 7 DAYS tongue.gif tongue.gif

Most likely it will take about 2 - 3 days...

after 2-3 days u can activated the account by sms-ing or by calling tmnet, if r doing the self-installation... if not, it will be auto-activated after 7 days

but if tmnet doing the installation, they will go to ur house after 2-3 days...

The 7 days auto activation is only for those area that confirm has service (within 5km radius), it is not for those lines which is more than 5km....

The 1-300-xxxxx ppl dun know anything at all because they dun have the access to process ur app... they are same with us actually: demanding ur phone number or login user name to check online status, then find a lot of lame excuses to entertain u, then tq and bb..., u need to force them to give the phone number to those who really has the right to process ur app.

If they found that they cant give u the service please dont force them as you will regret later when ur speed is slow...

Just let them do their job, upgrade, etc. to serve u better...

finally ..i got my streamyx.... but the speed only around 870kbps....is it considered slow?
Oh ....and about the "free value-added services" for few months.....is it they will terminate the value added services after the free period? or they will straight charge to our bill after tht without our notice???..I m scare of tht..~

I applied mine about a week ago and I'm still waiting for it to be out of the damn waiting list because they say no ports are available. shocking.gif I really hope it doesn't drag for too long.

For no port case, you might need to wait longer as they usually gather at least 50 applicants in order to open a new exchange point.

Holy crap... that is what I'm afraid of. I heard some people waited almost a month or something. Don't know if its for the same reason though. Is there anyway I can quickly get out of the waiting list other than complaining?

a month is considered fast brother, i got a fren waited for 2 years. and he cancelled the application, coz he doesnt stay there anymore.

if your area got a lot of people apply and cancel then it should be fast.if it is a normal residential area, you will have to wait for them to upgrade the ports.
