hi guys im planning to get myself the wireless adaptor as my xbox is kinda far from the modem and it will look real messy with long cables and all.. i jz wanna ask anyone who's using wireless adaptor here,how's the connection? i know wireless is definitely slower than using cable but i just wana know how much is the performance lost? worth to get it?

The performance is not lost by much (sometimes you may not even realize there is) but fact is depends on how good the strength of your wireless is.

But let me tell you the truth bro..my modem is faraway as well (like thirty feet far)
but i had a wre connecting to my router in my study. Thing is no performance is lost.
Why didnt I get a wireless router?

Expensive friend...

1)Wireless router-(depends on quality and brand)
2)Wireless adapter -$80US or roughly RM300

Stick to wires friend but as I said theres little or no performance lost. That is if you are very lucky (if you live next to one of those huge wireless Wifi towers for example).

i use the 360 wireless adaptor, no performance loss for me mine is like 10-15 feet from router.. better than stretching the stupid cable.. i had to reset it like twice since i bought it but that was because i changed the name of the wireless network.. other than that works like a charm

expensive though :S

as you can see at my shop~ the 40 inch lcd hooked with the xbox 360 is with the wireless adapter~ from my opinion it works quite well~.

DjiNn....how much ur shop sell the wireless adapter? i am interested to get one...if u have the 2nd hand one better for me

i am okay, my router is on the ground floor, while my xbox is on the first floor. no connection lost, still okay.
