Looks exactly the same as the SRT sleeper trains I took before in thai. Very hard to sleep coz they never dim the lights

Oh and taking a shit in a fast moving train is one challenge everyone should attempt in their lifetime.

I take this quite often from Singapore to KL and back...one tip...if possible...get a berth near the centre of the carriage...if near the ends...will be very noisy and cant get a proper sleep. Also, I would rather pay the RM6 more and sleep at the bottom...that's preferred.

i went to johor by train once, it was midnight, cant sleep, noisy bumpy all the way and u constantly in fear that u could missed out the station if u were overslept. not recommended if u hav meeting or any important matter but other than that it was a good exp, wouldnt mind taking it one more time next time.

No worries. There are staff to wake you up when you are about to arrive to your destination.
They never fail to wake me.

train stop at multiple stations and i dont see any staffs walk around to wake ppl up. maybe u have to inform them in advance. i also notice most of the staffs that work during the midnight shift at each stations were all sleeping, it would be nice if there is an announcement so that we know what station is next.

Overnight KL - Hatyai is heaven. Woke up to cool breeze of Perlis paddy field. Agree with others, always get lower berth because its bigger.

Around my bed is family of PRC tourist. Pleasant people, unlike the typical PRC in a plane.
I wish I would woke up in middle of night with one of amoi doing blowjob under the blanket like one in hentai manga.

Most of time, almost all people that take berth ticket stop at end station in JB/SG.

They already have checklist and will confirm your destination when they checking your pass.
