Mine hv updated with Poland rom. Buttery smooth and refreshing theme. Downside is no more "Do Not Disturb". Dont update now if this feature is important to u. Idont know if there is any battery drain but standby time seem to hv improved.

Downloaded from sammobile. go to search it at firmware section. u need to register as a user before download. 1 thing is very important, after flashing the new firmware, do a factory reset (backup all ur data as it will wipe everything off). without a factory reset, the phone is like a bit lazy to move

It's B6. There's 1 bug i encountered today. It's within Voice Recorder. App crashed when trying to create a category.

"Do Not Disturb" and "Always Interrupt" dont work the same. DND can block incoming call except those from ur favourite list. Whereas AI oni silent call and no blocking. I find that AI is a crippled version of DND.

That's two months ago. Note 2 is worse, no news at all.

My phone was a bit lag after flashing with Poland rom. There is no such issue after a factory reset.

For the 2nd problem, I hv this issue with my Poland ROM. The workaround is that after u hv done editing, save it, then click the Menu button and select save as another file name. Hope this helps. I dont know if this "bug" still persists with local ROM.

mine running lollipop stock, lock within a min and no issue with gps. my battery life is about the same but now running s health continuosly.

I overcome this by setting to GPS only. Could be Waze problem cos High Accuracy has no negative impact in Google Maps. Do let me know if this helps u

i think it's the old update. i recently reflashed the rom. security update is 2015-12-01

before i reflashed the rom, last month and so i received several policy security updates but it didnt bump the update number.

Actually Note 3 only gets about a year of major update. It was initially shipped with 4.3 in Sep/Oct 2013. About a month later 4.4 was released by Google and of course Note 3 was updated to Kitkat months later. After a year of Note 3 release, 5.0 was released by Google and Note 3 was updated as expected. However, it stopped at 5.0 and never updated since then. So it never gets 2 years of update.
