hi. so sorry if this was asked before...
i tried to root my note 3 last sunday but no success. i tried two methods;
1 heimdall steps stated here http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_hlte but it shows cannot copy in the cmd
2 odin doesn't detect my note 3

any suggestions to solve? i really wanna root my note 3 because my phone is becoming slower even after reset, and i'm not convinced official lollipop will make it much better so not waiting for it. also, don't care about knox/warranty because i bought it on launch date (end sept 2013) so no more warranty.

have you tried another usb port since odin doesnt detect

I never felt Note 3 is slow, probably due to some of your apps.

Use the latest version of Odin and latest Samsung USB driver

i've tried the usb port in normal mode first and it detect fine. then without unplugging the pc side i boot into recovery.

couple of times even changing screens in whatsapp lags. that's why i intend to try different rom.

Turn off power saving mode and disabled/uninstall those useless app keep running in the background draining CPU.

I never lag on Whatsapp. hmm.gif

When u say reset, do you mean factory reset?

any one here using latest AryaMod? im flash yesterday and notice the green colour LED light-up ~3 second and off, then light-up again, continues. hav confirm do not hav any notification or sms...

any one facing the same issue?
