Why suddenly V2 stop.......becoz of night?

i'm 22 now. you can say during those days were the peak of mini4wd. but racing format slightly different from u guys. we used to buy tickets per run and not pay an entry fee for unlimited runs. back then there used to be a loop so clearing jumps are not so straight forward. you cant go too low trying to scrap(ie have some braking effect) to clear jumps as you will not have enough speed to clear the loop. without the loop there are many tricks to slow the car down for a jump so that the car will not fly out. even the motor needed to run in with break in drops and also put some comm drops to make it slightly faster. if u are allowed to change motor terminals, do so. increasing the tension of the terminal/brushed to the motor commutator will increase the motor speed. soaking bearing in tamiya cleaner will definately make rollers and rotating parts smoother. make sure the oil u use is thin. if u use too thick will slow the car down instead.

i raced once in japan before and they have many regulations. one of the obvious one was the six roller rule. only a maximum of 6 rollers are allowed.

if u r only allowed certain brand of batteries dun just buy from one place. try to locate different places with different production batches. you'll be suprise with the speed difference. we used to use only duracell batteries. if open alkaline the best cells used to be panasonic, sony and tamiya. now maybe got new improvement i dunno because its already like 10 years but the tamiya alkaline batteries were unbeatable in terms of speed. the only downside were they cost Rm15 a pair.
