Hello everyone,

I am a foreigner, just graduated from a university and have decided to go full time on my footballing career. Currently, i am playing for non-competitive team in kuala lumpur. Now, i am looking for AGENTs, SCOUTs, or CLUB REPRESENTATIVEs who can introduce me to any of the local Malaysian competitive football team. I know of some teams who are currently playing in the FAM league like Real Mulia FC, Air-Asia FC etc but i don't really know how to contact them.

I will appreciate any help from anyone here.

Thanks in advance!

If you never had professional football contract before then you are not eligible to play as a foreign player in any Malaysian league under FAM

They usually do tryout during off season(between October to December),usually conducted at their training fields

Regardless whether you have pro background or not, you should just go and try your luck.Perhaps you couod impress the head coach.

For starter, try going to the stadium, usually their training grounds is nearby(Shah Alam Stadium for Selangor FA, Merdeka Stadium for KLFA). Also there got to be some notice/banners about tryouts hanging every now and then. Ask your coach too, if he's a licensed coach, he got to know something about tryouts because local coaches also acts as scouts.

You could also call them. for Selangor FA the number is 03 7803 6654

Is that even possible ? FAM specifically devised a rule to restrict clubs from signing just about any foreigner as import players. there are certain standards that need to be met. As import players are deemed to be better than local , prior experience is mandatory to justify that.

There was a precedence before when ATM try to sign a local based talented young foreign player into their development team but blocked by FAM.

I think el kings need to consult pfam for further input.
