Maybank will send the replacement card to you directly or via branch, a few weeks before expiry.
Once a replacement card is issued (without your knowledge), you will see something different when you log into Maybank2U.

I had seen Amex icon appeared at Lazada many months ago but I couldn't use Amex to pay.
Not sure now.

1. The transaction will go to "Airpay Malaysia" (since early January) which doesn't accept Amex. Airpay Malaysia is the owner of ShopeePay and is a sister company of Shopee Malaysia. We are yet to find out "Airpay Malaysia" transaction is under e-wallet or MCC6540 for Visa/MasterCard.

2. M2 Amex Gold/Platinum - You can get cashback from Shopee transactions but no CB for Shopee Pay (ewallets).

However, you can use Lazada bill payment to pay Indah Water. Lazada bill payment was still a Lazada transaction on 16/3/21 (post #2822).

You can also pay RM25 for Voucher Club. You will get some 5-5, 30-10, 60-10, 99-10, 250-25 vouchers over 4 weeks. Worth it if you pay >RM500 in a month, on Unifi, Water, Sarawak Energy / Sabah Electricity, Indah Water etc, mobile reload, paysgift-Petronas etc.

Switch from Maybank to HLB if I am not wrong.
For the time being, Amex is not activated at HLB card machines. UnionPay may be accepted now.

Use Amex to pay your electricity (Sabah Electricity) and Unifi at Lazada Bill Payment on Sat/Sun (5% weekend cashback).

Pump petrol at Petronas or Shell KK, or buy Setel credit RM50/100 (to buy Petronas fuel) at Shopee.

If you can spend RM500 to earn RM25 weekend cashback, enough to cover the service tax (per card) for Amex.

No. need to pay 2x RM25. (SST is RM25/card now)
Auto rebate of RM50 (SST was RM50/card) to Amex happened in pre-GST, not now.

Should be (Lazada ... MY).

5% weekend CB applicable to M2 AMEX Gold/Platinum only.
(8% online CB applicable to Maybank Islamic Amex effective 12/12/22)

FYI you can pay Digi Postpaid at Lazada App, Amex is accepted for digital goods at Lazada platform. Where you may get more than 5% savings (discount from Lazada) for using other credit/debit cards.

Can you use Amex to top up Grabpay?

I tried at Nike @ Mitsui Outlet Park, the cashier used Maybank device, the cashier said Amex was accepted but still failed. Haha.

1TP = 0.2% at On The Spot Redemption.
But if using VI / M2 Premier, the users are more interested to convert into Airmiles which is much higher than 1%.
