I went to brew house sunway giza branch and they accepts Amex. I think some staff dun like to use accept amex due to higher bank charges.

Today tried AMEX payment with FoodPanda on website... it worked !!!

Just tried FoodPanda App with AMEX... failed today

Called MBB CS and she told me today (25-10-2020) all e-commerce transactions using AMEX has failed in the last few hours. Many reported this case.
Ask to try after a few hours

Gosh i forgot to use Amex for yesterday's and today's order.

I just tried to make order with Amex successful.. Using website btw.

Amex card successfully added in saved card, made another order successfully (without need OTP) and received charge notification from MAE app.

Watson online does not accept Amex now? I tried paying with Amex card and could not proceed, keep sending me back to payment page. 😔😔😔

cashier realised its amex

cashier complaint to boss

boss said, already done, cant be reverse. next time visa or mastercard only.

me then complete my meal and happy with 5% rebate. Ha ha ha 🤣.. an expensive meal. i think almost 500 ringgit meal.

and how is that qualify for not accepting amex?

PS Otomobil (M) Sdn Bhd (Selayang) - No. 6, Jalan Empat

Source: Went to SS19 service centre and they didn't tell me upfront that they no longer accept AMEX until after my service was complete!! Subsequently, I called each of the other service centres mentioned above and asked if they take AMEX. Sadly all said no.

Amex is becoming super for me. Anyway, hope this saves some of you the wasted time going all the way to the SS19 SC just for the sake of collecting the increasingly useless 5x TP.

it seems UMW Toyota Service has stopped almost their outlets (left a few) since MCO. their outlets now managed by different companies.

the one i visited was changed from UMW Toyota Service -> Fokus Sentral Sdn Bhd.

i called earlier before going (2-3 weeks before actual service date), they said accepting amex. when i went there to service car and pay, the counter staff said they just started business and not accepting amex.

i guess they "reopened" their service centres but managed by 3rd parties instead.
