Hey guys, I don't know where to ask this but do you guys have any idea what a bank key is?
Apple is giving me a refund for a repair on my macbook pro and they require me to provide the bank key for the transaction.
What is it? I'm using my Maybank account and fyi it ain't the swift code. Plus it's 9 characters long.

So it's probably the routing number. I'll give Maybank a call again tomorrow!

Just an update, I did some googling and gave Apple this number : 026001287.

Day 1 - Received an email from Apple telling me that they want to refund my repair. Called Apple care. Verified my repair receipt. Apple acknowledged it. Agreed to refund. Apple guy requests all the detail and asked for the bank key. Called Maybank customer service, they told me they don't know anything about it. Called Apple again, told them about the key, he went through the manager.

Day 2 - Apple guy called me in the afternoon. Insisted that I needed the bank key for the refund otherwise he couldn't process it. Called Maybank again (same answer). Came here to ask you guys. Did some googling about bank key (no luck), then found out that it's the routing number (Thanks T231H).

Day 3 - Rang Apple and gave them that number I found and the refund now is being processed (4 days to 4 weeks). Hopefully no problem at Maybank's end.
