QUOTE(TheEvilMan @ Jun 12 2015, 01:03 PM) I actually like it for the longer leg and arms More like Gundam Converge the Model Kit Edition. yea not so much of SD or BB looks, more like a hybrid now ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Noob Question: Come across a good deal for Titanium Finish model kit, thinking to buy it onot. My concern is Can we still draw Panel line with marker & put Decal on Titanium Finish surface just like normal kit? the finishing looks great, but rather bland if without panel line & decal... QUOTE(advocado @ Jun 15 2015, 10:20 PM) yes you can. the panel line might take longer to dry or easily come off though, not sure if it will smudge if you spray top coat, maybe mist coat then wet coat to prevent smudge from happening. Thanks.. Don't think gonna Top Coat it. scare the Titanium Finish become not obvious..As long as I can panel line and decal it... I'm satisfied... QUOTE(TheEvilMan @ Jun 25 2015, 07:16 PM) Still better compare to OO version of "newtype" innovator which end up battling aliens like macross (i tot it's a jokes until i watch the movie still waiting for the next great Gundam series... Build Fighter is just some fun side story to sell kits, and the G Reconguita? is kinda EH.... |

Hi fellow seniors,
Hope you don't mind a newbie posting his work here My first straight build in 5-6 years since I went study. Now finally settled down & can start building kits.. Problem encountered: I used Gundam Marker, but the panel line is too thick for my liking (especially because my drawing speed is slow, the line got even thicker).... Is there other modelling marker pen that draw thinner line that you guys recommended? This post has been edited by Godevil: Jun 29 2015, 08:39 AM |

QUOTE(advocado @ Jun 29 2015, 08:50 AM) you know you can just wipe out the access of if it's dried use penknife to scratch out the excess right? since you aren't painting it it won't hurt the surface much, just go Mr.DIY and buy a Can of rm5.99 clear and do a mist coat on it, mist coat, not wet coat. That sounds many works for me, scratching all panel lines.. Doubt I have the patient QUOTE(cacin @ Jun 29 2015, 09:03 AM) Nowadays I tend to use real touch marker for panel lining. They are water based and can wipe with fingers or tissue. I think the tip is also softer compared to the normal gunadam marker. Real Touch Marker. Ok thx, will try that.. It will be great convenience if can wipe clean easily.. QUOTE(TheEvilMan @ Jun 29 2015, 09:13 AM) Is RG always meant to be fragile, haven't have any of them, the frame is prebuilt right, won't that help? Well, RG Zeta survived my accidental 80cm drop test.. guess it's tough enough.. This post has been edited by Godevil: Jun 29 2015, 09:49 AM |
