To fix the nub marks on Phenex, try Bosny copper gold. It's not 100% fix though.

Phenex comes with waterslide decals.

What's wrong with pink? Once you finish and top coat the kit, it will be awesome.

Generally flat is recommended.

You'll want to gloss coat part that is supposed to be shiny like metallic painted piston or thrusters.

3.0 joints in 2.0 frame.

Nu is awesome, it gives the wow factor more than the Unicorn, but prepare to pull your hair out when posing the funnels on its back.

You don't coat electroplated parts.

Nice, but bad choice of location.

If you want to lose the shines and mirror effect, then no clear coating, even gloss or satin.

Unless, you have access to industrial grade sealer.

Unicorn is an old kit, old kits are not properly undergated.

Nu Ka is awesome as hell, but prepare to be disappointed with the funnels assembly, weak hands, and difficult-as-hell to unassemble the pieces.

My advice is you do the detailing, decaling and topcoating by pieces before assembling them.
