My answer is...

Why so stupid?
The thermal paste is the most important part in cooling...

Last time, i've got a pc from customer, it's an old old athlon processor...

850Mhz if i'm not mistaken...
I've used PC Wizard to check the temperature...

And it's quite high...
About 70celcius i think... sweat.gif

With the stock heatsink, without any thermal paste.... rclxub.gif

Then, i put some "cap ayam" brand thermal paste, the white one...
And the results?

55celcius after using thermal paste... wink.gif

The conclusion:
Use thermal paste... icon_rolleyes.gif

Well, thermal paste proved to decrease CPU temperature.

BEFORE: 60 deg C
