Need some recommendation for a compact tripod. (I saw one really small one from Sirui but not exactly sure of the model)

Don't need super heavy max load.. about 3~4kg is ok.
Budget below RM250.

UPDATE: TQ EVERYONE. I bought the Sirui T005x At last smile.gif

For compact size, go for Q999s at gstrapinuse.com

I am considering getting either Beike Q999s or Jusino AX-254.
If you want compact tripod, maybe you can consider about Jusino Ax-255.

Couldn't find any other tripod which is below RM300 hmm.gif

hmmm, retractable clothesline as tripod, would that work? i see many use stringpods, but the string is not "flexible"

I would say no.
It's not really useful at all.
You can't take a long exposure (10 seconds, 30seconds) with this.
At best, it's a subpar IS/VR

those stringpods gives you 1 or 2 extra stops heh. not science fiction. of course longer exposure is useless

Exactly.
1-2 extra stops of stability is a big price to pay for being stationary (you can't move with the stringpod deployed).

If it's a high tension retractable clothesline... Good luck if you accidentally let go of the end.
