Congrats on V27!

Just purchased a Leopold FC660c from Japan at approx RM660. Could've gotten a Realforce but I prefer compact layouts and this is a 66 key layout.
Topre 45g switches on PBT Dye Sublimated Keys (except for space which is ABS I think).
This keyboard will replace my Filco TKL Brown Switch at home and complement my current Poker KBT Red switch (work keyboard). The Filco will go to my fiance, who herself already using another Filco TKL Blue Switch.

The feel for black is light and good for speed typing , their keycap is PBT ! D:

Hi there, my first post here. I've been looking for the Filco Majestouch Convertible 2 (bluetooth) brown switches locally but to no avail. Contacted a few fellows at garage sale, price listed but not available for the moment. Even tried calling Inter Asia but the person in charge wasn't around today. Is there any way I could get it quickly while keeping the overall cost at bay (excessive shipping cost)?

Currently I've been using the KBTalking pro wireless with brown switches as well but for some reasons I need a second unit, and that is from Filco..

the local prices given are below 550 but going with Taobao would be near or exceeding 700 without bringing any extra value to the keyboard.

there's a difference between reasonable and excessive delivery costs from overseas beyond such threshold...in the end, a keyboard is not life and death, so if it's not available now locally, it'll be a wait

Thanks too for this. Yeah, the convertible is an even more niche product within an already niche market. I thought there's slight hope when i saw locally available price. the useful info have been "not available since 5 months ago and the past experience with the supplier". it's deja vu again as I recall ordering the KBtalking keyboard 3 years back as wireless mechanicals were even more scarce..

i like detachable cables. because if anything happens to the wire, it's easily replaceable. when my baby nephew wants to play with my mkb, i can easily just detach the cable so it's not live

depends on quality.... honestly i like the ducky brand cauz usually it's decent price for good features. only issues i notice tend to be the small things like, the tilt stand is cheap and flimsy. and keycaps aren't doubleshots.
filco has an option for doubleshot keycaps which i think you need to buy separately from the keyboard.

deck brand is like the rolls royce of mkbs. very good quality BUT it's expensive as well. last time i checked was in the 800+ range. also remember it's an overseas product, so shippings fees gonna cost you a bomb as well. unless is stocked locally which i doubt

ducky has better lighting. and i think their doubleshot kit is also compatible with ducky if thats what you want added later    also easier to get ducky in malaysia.

This reminds me. I bought a DECK switch sampler last year. It's been gathering dust, so if you'd like to loan it PM me and we can work things out. 



It's a great start to feel the different switches (MX Black, Red, Blue, Brown) but it can't replicate the feel of the actual keyboard.

Best if you can test the entire keyboard itself at the stores.

Hi, i'm a newbie to mech keyboards.

My budget is around RM500.

What brand should i go for?

I prioritise Cherry MX Blue and build quality over anything.

I don't really mind about the backlighting, i think it's a gimmick and i don't wanna stress when one of the LEDs die.

Been looking at DAS, anyone got any other recommendations?

I've decided to split my budget to get a mx brown filco and a keycap set from SP.
not sure if i want to get a DSA Dolch set or a DCS midnight set.
they come out to be about the same price. what do you guys think?

there is a GB for springs now on MD.
i would also want to get a mx clear 60% later on and have it modded.

i've tried the common switches (red, black, blue, brown) and liked the browns and wanted to try the heavier clears.

any suggestions for a good 60% cherry with clears?
currently looking at the pok3r but waiting for the backlit version.

Sorry stupid question, can I use my Filco without the controller?

I'm using MKC acrylic case V2 currently and the case can't fit properly

but when i removed the controller it can fit
big ass picture, theres a gap if i mount it with the controller

Did anyone tried bringing in CODE keyboard??

I am quite intrested in clear switches but it seems hard to find it...
