You just got trolled. Go find on winkeyless.kr, or Taobao, or wait for some big God here to enlighten you if they have stock.

If you're buying from winkeyless.kr, email them, ask for cheaper shipping, 5 usd, will arrive in around 7-10 days.

got myself a Royal Kludge 55g topre clones , changed the keycaps to 1st gen IMSTO PBT with warped spacebar and one missing keys, replaced with leopold's PBT. Order last friday recieved today, so yay for awesome fast chinese shipping, over the weekend somemore.

i own two HKKBs, a realforce variable and a novatouch (soft landing foam mode not ironed - i like the shorter travel)

1/ typing feel
do they feel like topre?
yes, though so very scratchy, if i can get my hands on some lube might try to lube it up see if it lessens the scratchy feel.

do they feel like 55g topre?
no, more like 30g, very very light

do they feel like realforce 45g?
no, again more like 30g

do they feel like a realforce 30g?
somewhat, but i did not do the ripometer tes thing. so can't confirm scientifically

2/ build quality
they are not as well built as realforce/novatouch - lower cost translate to thinner materials for the sliders, the housing, the rubber and the spring. I know this from the sound of it, like when you hit something thin as opposed to something thicker. Personally I think it is a non issue because the feel is the same.
keycaps are very gimmicky though definitely livable with.

RGB
not as awesome as what is razer and corsair is offering, kinda sad they don't have the rainbow wave thing T.T

Software
have not tried it, i don't think i will, don't care much for key programming or the lighting option

recommendation
would you recommend this over realforce/novatouch?
1/ if you have money to spare and want RGB
yes - then you'll get poison and but a realforce/HKKB anyways tongue.gif
2/ if you want the true and tested keyboard that feels well built and solid
- if you are a tinkerer and know the limitation of cost and material and understand the limitations it carries
no
- if you're a keyboard enthusiast
> like to try/collect keyboard
yes
> want the the end game keyboard but with RGB
there is no endgame
- if you've owned a novatouch/realforce/hkkb before
no
3/ if you're a regular joe PC games who wants topre and RGB and never actually tried a topre before
yes

So i removed the rubber band to the stems and added some of - these soft landing pads to my royal kludge topre clones and the shorter travel with the added dampening now it feels nicer and less rattly than before and much more silent.

on another note, after opening the keyboard, I notice the stems from the keyboard is not a snug as topre, way way more play, the stems are not locked in place like real topres, also the rubber membrane is a different, softer, thinner, some sort of plasticy material. If you decide to do the mod, I'd advise you to carefully, like be alot more careful that you were to open a regular topre keyboard, cause I gon farked up and they spring were everywhere and they're kind a bitch to put back together.

same with regular topres you have to align the landing pads it properly, plus one extra step for this particular keyboard of cutting the opposing end so that it will fit the clone housing.

sorry not pic, did it on a whim last night cause i couldn't sleep but if you have any questions feel free to ask.

p/s
After examining the design last night, i can conclude that if you have the cash just go straight for original topre - more convenient to mod, made with batter material like literally, unless you really really gotta have the RGB - which, although I can't believe im saying this, is kinda nice to have. Though they said CM will be coming with RGB topre at Computex soon so you got that to look forward to.. heeeee.....

edit - grammer
