however i check taobao and to my surprise there are actually a lot of budget mkb choices
but with that price i suspect it must be using kailh switches. any sifu using kailh switches or china/tw keyboard? how was it?

QUOTE(am3rr @ Mar 30 2015, 12:56 AM) as far as i know. most people will vouch for mx. yeah, there is the whole debate going on for kailh and cherry. afaik they felt almost identical and the biggest question is their built/durability. if cherry cant last up to 20 years while kailh up to 15 years, i wouldnt mind kailh though. not too sure about gateron though but is a good thing cherry knock off getting more recognition.only until recently people vouching for gateron as well. get filco. its a good long lasting board and easy to resell among mk enthusiast as well Thanks for the suggestion, i think i need to stretch my wallet a bit more for filco, on the plus side i can smack people with it and it will be still good |

QUOTE(TheHitman47 @ Mar 31 2015, 12:26 AM) so far it felt quite good, though need some time to adjust to it, key feels very light, tried several games that requires lots of key mashing and it works well with it. just lacking that tactile bump feedback due to being linear switch and those clicky noise. |

QUOTE(DarkSilver @ Mar 31 2015, 01:28 AM) Red is very sensitive based on my experience with it. tbh i kinda liked blue for how it feels and the click sounds. but i got a feeling the noise would become annoying after a while. if given the opportunity i'd go for clear switch or topre.Soft touch will trigger the press. That's why I change to BLUE after playing RED for a while. hows blue doing for you? |

QUOTE(DarkSilver @ Mar 31 2015, 01:47 AM) Pretty good... from what i heard, clear is not clicky as blue. a lot people like blue, great for typing i heard. tried black too, almost double the effort needed to press red lol.Brown and Blue are BEST for me. Never tested Clear yet, but, it's almost like Blue if not wrong(minus the super clicky sound but I heard harder to press compared to Blue). Black is simply too hard for me. Red is too soft. Topre is very expensive. QUOTE(Krytone @ Mar 31 2015, 01:47 AM) i think clear is tactile but not clicky, same with topre. for me, blue is the best. its tactile and clicky, been using it for a while at work and still loving it. if i am to change/add boards, it would still be blues, lol. damm you guys now tempting me to get blue . but i heard once you get used to the switches you use its pretty hard to adapt to others. |

Hi sifus want to ask your expertise on this.
i saw this IBM Terminal keyboard Model M 1397000 or 1397003 few days ago at my workplace and they are willing to let go off it for cheap. Pic for reference ![]() but i notice its port is using some sort jack that looked like LAN cable (i think its RJ45). is there anyway i could make it to run with the current gen PC?
