Hi, i'm a newbie to mech keyboards.
My budget is around RM500.
What brand should i go for?
I prioritise Cherry MX Blue and build quality over anything.
I don't really mind about the backlighting, i think it's a gimmick and i don't wanna stress when one of the LEDs die.
Been looking at DAS, anyone got any other recommendations?
Cheers.

QUOTE(quovadis123 @ Aug 5 2015, 10:34 AM) Your only choice is Filco Majestouch 2 TKL. It has quality and MX Blue. Suitable for you. It's non-LED. No need see other brands for now, coz you only need Filco. kthxbye. Note: Not trolling, it's serious recommendation. Wow, what's with the Filco hype within the mech keyboard community? How much does this model cost in RM?

QUOTE(quovadis123 @ Aug 5 2015, 10:42 AM) Before GST is RM 369 (iinm). Now probably around RM 4xx. Because Filco produce keyboard that have zero RMA and solid keyboard. The keyboard worth every ringgit you spend. Enthusiasts and sifus are all have at least 1 Filco. Reminder note: Filco is non-LED keyboard. Blank keycaps, you have to buy separately (after market keycaps). Filco only have side/front printed keycaps. They don't provide blanks. Thank you so much. Will research mroe about Filco and Das before i decide. Filco is good, i just want a nonflashy mech keyboard and Filco seems to provide what i want much appreciated!

QUOTE(quadcube @ Aug 5 2015, 01:06 PM) go for Filco as recommended by quovadis123 went to Lowyat test a few keyboard with diff switch (C-zone was nice enough to open the boxes for me to play around with a few keyboards) Typed on a few Filco and Ducky, end up buying a Filco MX blue now shopping Taobao for keycap, white PBT and Nyan cat set As much as i wanna get a Filco, I don't think I will be willing to shell out RM500 for a keyboard. I'll probably end up with a low end ducky. Anyone had experiences with Ducky Zeros?

QUOTE(DarkSilver @ Aug 6 2015, 04:05 PM) Ducky not made in Taiwan? Or it's just this Ducky Zero is from China? Because even the lower end ones, Ducky G2Pro is made in Taiwan. I think i read somewhere that only the Zero(s) are made in China, other models are made in Taiwan. Does it matter if it's made in China or Taiwan? It really depends, if i can save more... i'll go all in for the filco
