QUOTE(CAL V @ May 26 2015, 02:35 PM) The seller said its vintage blacks with 55g springs. I don't really know how to differentiate vintage blacks. It might just be normal lubed blacks. Vintage Blacks or old blacks have a bigger cherry logo on the switch tops. https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=38921.0 You can read more about older switches here. There's probably more characteristics you need to look out for. |

Anyone used USPS before? May I ask how long does it usually take for an item from the US to reach to Malaysia?

QUOTE(darklordzz @ Jul 1 2015, 02:40 PM) Okie I suggest you to avoid those. Weird layout. It's like an ANSI layout with and ISO enter and the "/" key.Btw, I'm searching through Taobao ...found some keyboards but probably need someone to translate for me haha. http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r....bucket=1#detail http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r....bucket=1#detail (Keycool stuff too expensive) Want your opinions What's your budget? Pretty sure there's affordable mkb's locally. Don't need to resort into weird brands. imo, just my 2cents. |

Heya, just an example picture ![]() didn't see any part listed on accessories for it http://www.duckychannel.com.tw/en/accessories.html if that is not an option, any idea if this mkb is good http://www.duckychannel.com.tw/en/ducky-legend/ i'm not sure if ducky sells those small parts but I know Filco does. http://www.keyboardco.com/product/filco-legs-one-pair.asp Try finding someone who can get them locally or alternatively this method might work: http://www.instructables.com/id/Replacement-Keyboard-Legs/ |

Its been a long time since I've dropped by, same goes to GH as well and I saw there's a local custom keyboard? That's a milestone for the community here. I've recently just joined the group on facebook as well. Hope to see the community expand further here

^ +1, Avoid mechanicalkeyboards.com, maybe look at taobao instead(google translate works well). I don't think the amount of item you're looking at justify's the shipping cost anyways. Taobao would be cheaper and quicker.

QUOTE(a\/enger @ Aug 14 2015, 04:05 PM) Actually, modding is pretty simple if you have the right tools. The biggest hassle would be if your switches are already soldered on the pcb/plate. Then you'll have to desolder everything unless you plate allows the switch top to be removed. |
