Should just check the PCB first. Most should accept PCB mounted with no problem.

Rosewill RK9000 , IKBC F103 from Taobao RM385 or Ducky Zero .

What am I looking for :

-A good Mech Keyboard that can last long
-Back Lighting or non is alright as long as it's user friendly
-Media Key shortcut
-Price around 300-400
-Brown / Blue MX Switch is alright

Want long lasting, LED backlighting = NO.
Rosewill, IKBC and Ducky are good.
But, I think Filco still the best bet here.

Is LED backlighting that bad ? it will die if i'm not lucky right ?

I was waned to purchase a IKBC F104 but i hear nowadays fake from taobao increasing and I can't exchange if there's any problem ... So i'm consider a Local one

Local ones = Ducky and CM Storm(some models only) if you insist want to have LED...
Or else, Filco, BEST durability so far.

LED really = LUCK matters.
My friend bought Ducky Shine 3 and CM Storm Rapid-i, both also got LED problem.
While, I bought Ducky Shine 4 and Ducky Shine 3 as well as Razer BW Ultimate Chroma, all no LED problem.

if u google up making choices for mkbs most of em will say it depends on the user. most liked the colorful leds, some dont. for me, i dun really liked it cuz my room always dark. the led shines like the sun blinds me. leds wont die easily, its long lasting,

u can feel the topnotch quality materials used on filcos mkbs. except its abs kcap. worth checking it out.

Filco ABS Keycaps still have better quality than those of Ducky and CM Storm.

IKBC F104's Layout is STANDARD.
Filco Majestouch 2 is using STANDARD Layout too.
So, their keycaps can be shared among each other.

Alternatively, if you want higher quality keycaps, you try to find some PBT keycaps(if double-shot ones will last forever).

Actually, it's a fail spray. So, to solve this problem. I make it looks like damaged and then final touch, I spray a Matte Clear Coat on it to protect it and also make it looks matte.

btw what is the cons for mod a keyboard ?

Would like to know what is your expectation of the sprayed casing?
It will be nice if you can let us the render version of your expectation casing.

I am not sure if it's the spray can problem, because it shoots out the paints weirdly like rain droplets rather than moist mist. I am not using cheap spray can, it's Krylon Gloss White(About RM 40) and Krylon Matte Coat Finish(About RM 36).
So, some parts of the keyboards are ruined(inconsistent thickness).
To solve this, I just have to make battle-scarred version of it and then spray at Matte Coat Protection on top and DONE.

Originally, I intend to make some masking patterns but I changed my plan last minute.
