Guys, can guide me where to get a set of red on white key set? Prefer PBT doubleshot if can. I saw a set of vortex on eBay, but the seller said it have some minor flaws on the legends on certain keys.

I need a set for my upcoming mech kb. (cherry MX)
*
taobao.

taihao/vortex both got red on white keyset.

I expected it bcuz I want to buy a 2nd hand keyboard, I found the same MKB
for sale around 300 bucks(via mudah) and he told some LED lights are dimmed and some of them are not lighted up.
I think you should go ask to person who sell to u 4 a repair or go heavyarm for repair it.

CM Storm good quality but I afraid it'll be like Razer..full of xD and only thinks $$$
*
its not about cm, its about the led it self. any keyboard with led is like hit and miss.

sometimes it last long sometimes it dont.

thats why many people prefer filco, good quality build and no led hassle

QUOTE(zorbyss. @ Apr 23 2015, 08:12 PM)
Good day, guys.
I'm wondering why Filco is so highly (if not best) regarded compare to other keyboard brands.
Considering their price and features, are they kind of overprice? I've read about how people rave about their build and quality, how different it feels when it compare to other keyboards with the same switch. (I'm definitely not comparing it to Razer here) While there are other similarly or lower priced keyboard brands out there like Ducky and CM Storm. I bet their quality are pretty much similar or maybe Filco is slightly better. However, everyone (yes, ALMOST EVERYONE) seems to prefer Filco. I've also read about the stabilizers where people pick Filco for its costar stabilizers but this cannot be the only reason right? Besides, there are also other keyboard with Costar Stabilizers. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not doubting the reputation nor the the quality or trying to insult Filco or its fan. And, please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm here to ask for opinions not arguments. My apologies if my words are

No sarcasm as well, I'm just curious about how each keyboard brands differs between each other when it comes to typing experience. Now, I'm deciding between Ducky Zero or Rosewill RK-9000 (with brown switch) as my second mechanical keyboard for work. I wonder if I should top up more for a Filco.
I'm currently using a Ducky Shine 3 with blue switch, besides dead LED, I'm kinda happy with it. You know right, after you start using mechanical keyboard, membrane keyboard like...  sweat.gif
Have anyone brought their mechanical keyboard to work? I cannot be the only one who think about doing it.

Anyway, I'm open to suggestions and opinions on my purchase. Appreciate if anyone could point me to the right direction and explain why Filco is preferred by so many people out there.
I don't wanna spend too much as it is only for work and I don't need no fancy or gimmicky features. I just need a good keyboard to get me through a busy day.
Thanks in advance.
*
i use ducky as my first kb and then up the ante to filco.

the experience was different. u need to test it yourself to be honest.

no matter how people say or describe, the point when it is in ur hand its different.

filco board was super sturdy, compare to ducky. but both was good.

*
there no place to do that in lyn. but u can post urs in geekhack and get better response there,

one of our forumer ie Krytone try to post his keycaps log last time here, response wasnt that good.

so he went to geekhack and the response was absurdly better.

Burning use Realforce TKL. What weight, I don't know.

The other players usually rely on MX Blues.

I use any board to play Doto, as long as mechanical.

35g linears please don't use to play FPS, cuz you'll tap too hard and hurt your fingers, but that might be due for an update since I've retrained my fingers.

MX Blues can also be used to play FPS, but the clickiness is not there so it's kinda no so fun.

Best overall gaming switch is actually 45g Topre with spring loaded spacebar because 45g is too light and you'll accidentally actuate the spacebar when resting.

Caveat: all the above are my personal experience, so YMMV.
*
bro. right now i got 35g gaterons switches, which spring will be good for me to use to feel like brown switches?

QUOTE(belfong @ May 10 2015, 05:53 PM)
Anyone have any experience with lost packages in the mail?  cry.gif  I am expecting a keyboard. Tracking says that it left custom and reached PosLaju Puchong. And then it was dispatched out of Puchong to PosLaju Kota Damansara but it never reached Kota Damansara (I went there to ask them). So, it is either still in Puchong or lost in the mail or the van overturned or something. The thing is, it was badged out of Puchong, so it has to be in transit, unless the badging out was a mistake. I think I should go to PosLaju Puchong to look for it, but I am not sure where it is. But tell, me, any experience like this?

Woah, very sad leh like that.. Lost at which section of transit? In Malaysia already? Was just about to order from pexon these couple days.

My last bad experience with Poslaju was a 256GB SSD, they simply deliver to someone else, end up calling Poslaju many times, follow up and retrieved my SSD. sweat.gif
*
if u want to order let me know. i want to share shipping cost.

wasted la cable + the mini usd thingy.

i email pexon, ask him check no respon
