laugh.gif may i know why u visit japs website when you dont read it?
i think it's local copyright issue or naming restriction.
the whole Arport Family (extreme card, extreme base station & express) are all named as AirMac in Japan.

I've look tru the spec, it's the same thing as Airport family is US or any other country.

Another note, if apple were to introduce something new or a revision, it will normally took place worldwide or started from US. And a dominant banner will be on the main page of their website.

it's no longer rumors, both MacPro and iMac Core2Duo are equiped with 801n Airport Card. Just that Apple yet to officially support it. Might due to 801n is yet to finalised.

Wait for Macworld January 2007.

its been called AirMac for many years now. Look through the service and warranty information smile.gif

I think its to reduce confusion because translating AirPort to Japanese would be a mess...

Actually it's due a pre-existing trademark in Japan. Somebody already owns the name.

Sometimes Japan have much better stuff than the normal stuff like Macs and cellphones. If you check the Phone Specific Discussion, so many forummers picked up the latest phone technology is from Japan Websites. thumbup.gif
