QUOTE(treblecase @ Apr 19 2015, 10:21 PM) Yes you'll need to drip juice after few puffs. I usually use this at home & when I'm out, a tank is more convenient. Think of it like a cigarette in a box & those that you need to roll yourself. That's the nearest analogy I can think of. Of coz, smoking is history liao I'm not a smoker previously but I smoke shisha often, this habit will be another burden in my monthly spending beside changing phone Here a lot non smoker vape too? |

QUOTE(fauxfides @ Apr 19 2015, 10:27 PM) Really quick explanation of the differences here, you have the RDA (Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer) and the RTA (Rebuildable Tank Atomizer). Many RDAs do not have a huge liquid capacity and would be required to be held upright most of the time to avoid leakages as they do not have a "tank/container" to hold the liquids in. It is called a RDA/dripper because you will be required to refill the liquids after a few vapes due to the lack of storage. RTA on the other hand will have a tank to hold the liquids hence the ability to carry/store more liquid and since it's secured it is possible to commute and move about with it tucked in your bag without the fear of spillages. With that being said, some RTAs have the tendency to leak despite it's intended design so I wouldn't say all RTAs are leak proof. However as stated earlier, main difference is RDA = drip e-liquid/juice after every few puffs and RTA = higher liquid capacity. Thanks for the clear explanation, since you say RDA need drip juice after every few puff, how bout RBA? Is it same case with RTA? Also the term Rebuilable means that you are able to rebuild your coils which is different from tanks such as the Aspire Nautilus and Subtank Mini as they have replaceable coils (except when a rebuildable deck if provided, in this case the Subtank Mini) Aspire replaceable coils also last as long as normal coils right or longer? |

QUOTE(fauxfides @ Apr 19 2015, 10:45 PM) RBA = Rebuildable Atomizer / RDA = Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer / RTA = Rebuildable Tank Atomizer. I'm now using eGrip and RBA case, try use a week with this RBA then change to stock Joyetech base see what's the difference. When they say RBA it means it's a rebuildable and basically it's like a blanket term for RDAs and RTAs. I cannot confirm if Aspire replaceable coils last longer than replaceable coils of other makes but generally coils that are built/rebuildable will have a longer shelf life if you maintain it. I haven't read your previous posts and I assume you have not started vaping and if that's the case, don't jump into rebuildables just yet but rather try out a set with changeable coils until you're ready If I were to upgrade I will choose changeable coil more than ready made one. Outside service one RM5 while ready made one is terrible expensive Not a cheap hobby I'd say. Salute for those who spend a lot on vaping. |

QUOTE(keypad @ Apr 19 2015, 11:08 PM) Since you're into eGrip's RBA, you will encounter leaking juices from the bottom of the airflow hole... Please ensure that you stuff more cotton to the coils, enough to cover 2 out of 4 liquid holes... That will stop leaking... Yes! there is a leak after I fill up but after that no more. If use stock base will it leak? I almost gave up on eGrip many, many times until I found the solution... The last attempt cost me like 3 hours and quarter bottle of Rude Beer liquid.... Wow, that's a lot of waste. How's the Rude Beer juice btw? Seems like that and bandung flavour is best seller. |

QUOTE(duke_hunt @ Apr 21 2015, 11:27 AM) u r using the 0.5ohm coils based on ur watt settings.. How to differentiate 0.3 or 0.5ohm wire? I plan to do my first RBA but not sure which or where to buy. coils will deteriorate over time, same like light bulbs.. the difference is, light bulbs is not in direct contact with liquids.. vaping coils do..and more over, liquids contents will build up carbon on ur coils.. overtime, build up carbon will become gunk and affect ur wick/cotton.. take out the cotton, dry burn ur occ head by firing no longer than 5 seconds, with 5 seconds interval from the next firing.. do this until u can see the coils, not the balck gunk.. make sure u dont fire more than 5 seconds as the longer u fire, the faster ur occ head insulator will deteriorate as well and will melt too.. this will render ur occ head useless.. once the coil head is clear, stuff in new cotton, wet em up with ur choise of liquid and fire up to look at the vapor production.. then, off course fill up ur tank, and ur good to go.. |
