Yeah, from what I've been reading. The hype of C2D are people aiming to buy the MacBook Pro version and not so much of the MacBook having C2D. The speculation is also that because MB was released much later than MBP, Apple wouldn't be upgrading the MB in this same year. But it's Apple so who knows what they can be thinking. LOL! I'm making arrangements of getting a sw33t MacBook probably by next week if all goes well.  p/s: There's more than just free student/teacher office edition promos on. Well, if you've noticed the trend of Apple during PCFair.. you get rebates.. or extra stuff paying the same price.. The best rebate is RM500 for a MacBook black or you pay same price and they throw in certain goodies like a bag and a keyboard protector.. Nothing to shout to mom about..

now i'm just pondering.. more RAM in a 1.83 or free original Office (student/teacher) would be a better offer...
