Expect a 'real' graphics card on the MacBook. And it should be Core Duo 2 across the range. I believe the MacPro will receive an update as well. Prolly no more Xeon processor?

If u're don't really need it now or anytime soon, as in u just want a MacBook, then u should wait till January. Leopard should be released then or maybe we'll see an upgrade or price drop. The best time to get an Apple is usually right after an upgrade as they won't do it for another 6 month or so. If u know something good is coming up like C2D or Leopard, best if u wait.

for me, it really depends on you. Do REALLY REALLY need the macbook/macbook pro NOW OR can you wait. If you can, by all means do. Me? I need a macbook now coz my wife just inherited my iBook and my Compaq is doing a no-display-when-powered-on kinda thing.
Don't care much about C2D coz the most probably you can get is around 8-10% more than what you have now on Core Duo. I'm really waiting for the TRUE 64 bit chip, which should be out sometime spring 07. |
