My BF bought M1 Note from Lazada for RM400.
I thought it's a pretty solid phone: big screen (my first 5.5" screen phone, now so not used to small screen dy), awesome camera, no heavy use so operation quite smooth, gets hot very quickly when playing game or on phone call though.
...until my water bottle spilled in my gym bag and the phone kena. It wasn't even drown in a pool of water, just some water splashed on the phone. My other phone Vivo Y15 also kena. I off both phones and kept in rice for 2 days to defog the camera. Unfortunately, when I on Meizu back, the cameras didn't work, the back button failed, the keypad also got problem, sent in to repair, and it gonna cost me RM399 coz 'water damage, board rosak'. Decide to cancel the repair and get it back as a 'gaming phone' lol. The Vivo was fine after rice therapy.
I had a Sony Xperia S for 6 years which went through whole lot more and still staying strong. Can only say, this phone really manja. Careful guys...
Sorry I have to self-quote, but really need to tell the story about this strong phone.
Today, I decided to test the phone again to see if I can do anything about it. After installing all the Google thingy (did factory reset when phone broken), I decided to try all the malfunction things.
First, the back button suddenly works. Then the keypad also suddenly works.
The camera app was completely gone after the factory reset so I installed a third party camera. At first, only the front camera works and it was upside-down aka terbalik! There wasn't even the 'flip camera' function so I assumed the back camera was gone. Manatau after reboot, suddenly the cameras work, both front and back, completely normal again!
Wow
This phone really is something hahaha
