Usually I just use NERO Vision. Works well with most AVIs.

use DVD-lab Pro. This software can make DVDs with menu and subtitles integrated into it. It also comes with a helpful guide.

Trial version only. Does it have limitation like limited time conversion or watermark on the image ?

i agree dvd lab pro is a very good program but it doesnt support avi. so it defeats the purposes as to TS's enquiries.

TS: please be acknowledge that DVD Lab Pro doesnt support avi files. try winAVI or avi2dvd

Nero Vision 4 (budled with Nero Burning Rom) support many files such as ASF, AVI, DAT, MPG, MPEG, WMV, MP4 and DIVX.

The draw back is it will encode the input files to comply with PAL or NTSC DVD. It's built in encoder not so good. I wrote a guide using Nero Vision 4 but the AVI files was converted using 3rd party program.

Basically not all DVD mastering software have built in encoder. Some need 3rd party encoder like DVD Lab Pro (for example).

Simple, convert those AVI to MPEG, then use TMPGEnc DVD Author convert those MPEG to DVD format (VOB), and u oso can create theme, put title, blah blah blah, then burn into DVD and watch with ur normal RM99 DVD player!
