I am an accountant but I hate accountancy job. I like to work with children and plan to take "Early Childhood Care & Education".

But I read that this course don't really receive a high pay unless you have a certain degree?

Which one of this do you think will give me a high salary or good for my future?

(Click the link to read more about the courses)

*Diploma

*Bachelor Degree

2) Bachelor of Science (Hons) Psychology - http://bit.ly/1DzT3M3

I'm not sure this is the correct forum for this question. You might have better answer in the Education section.

It is not easy to work with children. You must have love and passion for the children. You will need to be responsible for the children under your care. You have to explain a single bruise or scratch happens to a child under your care. are you ready for it? In My nephew's preschool, a teacher have to write report for such incident, when it happens, how it happens, where it happens, what is the action taken, any photo of the injury, etc.

If you think of high salary, then please stick to Accountancy. Kindergarten teachers only pay about RM1800 - RM3000 for a start. But for long term, you can gather enough experiences to start your own school.

Can't answer your question on the right education but hopefully you know what you are talking about in taking care children. Go visit a day care before you decide. I send my boy to a day care with well groomed teachers and only to collect my son at the end of the day with a messy hair, clothes and exhausting teachers. Babies toddlers kids are very difficult. It is about education only. You got to by nature enjoy the presence of them with a positive attitude or you will just succumb to hatred too. Like accounting.

I just hope you are ready that's it. The idea of someone taking care of my kid without passion but for the sake of money really worries me.

Well, in my opinion both jobs give you a high package after a certain time. Teaching is the best way as it enhance children education and knowledge. Working with children needs a lot of patience and passion. But if you are doing it just for the salary, then you have to think once.
