Hi guys, new here and completely clueless about fragrance. I'm looking for a versatile perfume that is suitable for most occasion and need some suggestions.
Went Sephora today for some test and turns out i really liked below particular scents.
- Christine Dior Sauvage (Loved this but way too expensive for my league as a beginner) - Gucci Guilty Black (Raving bad ratings at fragrantica. Don't care much for those saying it smells synthetic as I liked it but am worried of the sillage and longevity as it seems pretty bad too) - Versace Pour Homme (Looks like it has issues with longevity as well)
Can anyone suggest me an alternative that smells like the above but at a RM200/100ml range that has a good longevity that can last me a full day at work?
Otherwise i'll just have to choose between Gucci/Versace if there's no alternative as this 2 are within my budget range. I'm leaning towards Gucci here as it smells really fresh to me.
Thanks!

QUOTE(t0n3 @ Aug 18 2016, 10:35 AM) Don't expect fresh scent to last very long. 6 hours is considered good for me. If you like them, just get them. I don't think you can find any cheaper alternatives. You might wanna try L'eau D'Issey. That one lasted quite a while on my skin. Buying online is cheaper if you're on a budget :- - http://my.bestbuy-world.com/index.php?main...roducts_id=1358Thanks will check that out if i can find them in retail stores.

QUOTE(kahyeec @ Aug 18 2016, 11:31 PM) if you find Dior Sauvage interesting, then you should get it. its mainstream but it is after all Dior . Beginner wearing Dior is showing you have kelas liao. It's my first ever fragrance purchase and I can't justify the price. If i were to get it where can I get a better price? I seen one online @RM440/100ml bottle. Will it be cheaper at Parkson/Aeon? As i heard Chanel/Dior is cheaper in stores compared to online. This post has been edited by justordinary: Aug 19 2016, 03:42 AM

QUOTE(t0n3 @ Aug 19 2016, 10:16 AM) Don't expect to get Chanel fragrances cheaper other than from brick and mortar stores because it has tight distribution. The ones at grey market are either pricier or fake (if too cheap). Having said that you can get Dior and Chanel slightly cheaper from my favorite M'sian online store, my.bestbuy-world.com. No, I'm in no way affiliated to them. They don't have Dior Sauvage ehh.
