So much hype for this. Looking forward to try it.

Just got me a bottle of CH Men at the warehouse sale... Was always attracted to it years ago when I was smelled it... One of the more pleasant sweet scents, which has some depth to it, which gives it a slight masculine tinge... However, I must agree that performance on this one is just average or below on my skin... And it gets boring me for me pretty quick too, lacks complexity...

Saw this ad in the Star newspaper today... Don't know if it's legit? Apparently sale of up to 80% from 30th March - 5th April...

Anyone know of this seller? They claim their products are 100% authentic... thefirstfragrance

guys for work in office purpose and longetivity, which is better between this two from the Yves Saint Laurent house?

- La Nuit De L'homme YSL

orĀ

- L'homme YSL

For office my vote would be l'homme as it is softer, but I don't see why la nuit can't work in an office setting as well... personally I'd reach for la nuit outside of a work setting, for a casual night out usually and l'homme in the day... in terms of longevity both are equal on my skin

To my knowledge acquiring samples in Malaysia is pretty limited... Personally what I've done to test out a wide range of fragrances is to get decants (anywhere between 1 ml to over 10 ml) from members on this forum who are avid collectors... Many of them are willing to share their vast wardrobe for minimal cost... Quite a privilege to get to sample so many different high quality (especially niche) fragrances that I would never get to own cause I can't afford them...

Perfume decant is a process of transferring perfume liquid from full bottle to smaller bottle, which can come in various sizes ranging from as small as 1ml dabber to as large as 50ml or larger. Basically, it's how usually we sample different perfumes from peers or online decant stores.

You can read more about it here http://theperfumedcourt.com/what-is-a-decant

I have literally lived on decants from these guys for the past several months... rclxms.gif

It's a beautifully simple concept really... Those who are avid collectors may never be able to finish their ever-expanding wardrobe in their lives, so by sharing they get to procure an even greater variety of fragrances to add to their wardrobe... And as for us who aren't as avid in our collecting or simply can't afford it or for whatever reason, we get to experience a great variety of fragrances in small amounts... It's a win-win situation for everyone... More perfume for everybody!

Really glad that decants are readily available here in the Malaysian fragrance community... Otherwise have to order from overseas... cry.gif
