I previously owned the 2015 batch of DHI. But many said that reformulated DHI seems weaker. I never get vintage version. To me, it smells good IMO. I got sweet lipstick vibe and kinda chocolate & Woody drydown. As per our humid weather, performance kinda 5-8 hours. Sillage is good. Not chocking people at night time.

Many says, better get the original DHI 2007-2011 version. But kinda hard to find it i believe. Hmm alternative... I would say Rirana Perfume: Iris Ambrette (Local Brand) and Zara 9.0. They are clone of DHI 2011. I like Rirana one l, because it is in EDP and perform better. But very powdery at the opening and i love the woody cedarwood at the drydown.

Other similar to DHI I believe is Valentino Uomo and Valentino Uomo Intense, i heard it perform better than current DHI formulation. However I never had chance to smell them. 😭😭

Guys, i'm curious, i have come across many Indos, Vietnams, Banglas and few other foreigners in Malaysia that smells so good. Even when they left, the fragrance is still there for seconds. They obviously not rich, the way they dressed and their lifestyle also below average, therefore i'm not expecting Sauvage, Bvlgari, Creed Aventus etc etc. But i'm desperately need to know, did anybody have any idea?

I guess those are cheaper fragrance where you can get at stalls in shopping mall. There are also some middle east fragrance shops which are quite cheap too.

But the quality tho. I am sure that is not Watsons/Guardian/Tesco types of perfume. Even my pricey EDP didn't smell that nice and lasted that long. Hopefully you or anyone know the specific brand or place to buy of the frangrance they used.

P/s: I can't ask them directly due to language barrier 

Even if you know doesn't necessarily it can work with you ,but i prefer for them to smell good rather than not. I think we all have some experience with that lol.

Ya can try to smell at KLCC  Pretty safe oud when compared to others such as Oud Palao (Diptyque) or Oud Ispahan (Dior)

After trying Ombre Nomade from LV (Surprisingly since it's not even listed for sale in our region), it's safe to say that no other Oud smell currently can tempt my nose.

Even the dior's Oud Ispahan seems mild to me already.

And I noticed that TF's longevity for their perfume has been decreasing. Last time my Soleil blanc can easily last 6~7 hours since I don't move around in office. Now? Barely 2~3 hours before I find it missing in some ways.
